Drew Baydala of Ticket King Online, who has broken several WWE stories in the past, announced on Twitter that a Legends Battle Royal is set to take place on tonight’s RAW 25 Anniversary show.

Baydala also confirmed that Howard Finkle will be doing ring announcing at The Manhattan Center.

While speaking to E! Online, Lana credited Nikki Bella for her help with transitioning from a manager role to an in-ring performer on WWE television. It was Nikki’s assistance that helped her on not giving up on pursing her dream to compete in the ring.

“Nikki has helped me so, so, so much,” Lana said. “There have been times in my wrestling journey—and you’re going to see this on the show—when I’ve gotten discouraged because the success doesn’t come overnight. It’s a lot of getting in there and failing. She was really the person that kept on encouraging me not to give up, to be resilient, to be brave and to have courage. At times, I would think maybe I shouldn’t continue to pursue my dream of competing in that ring, but she kept on telling me not to give up and keep on training. I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for Nikki Bella.”

Billi Bhatti of Dirty Sheets has leaked footage that was allegedly taken during WrestleMania 33 of Scott Hall having alcoholic beverages with Ric Flair.

According to the report, Flair and Hall were having drinks (presumably Orlando, FL) at 11am the weekend of WrestleMania. Bhalli claims that he has had the footage for sometime now and just recently decided to leak it after his online altercation with NXT’s Aleister Black.

In the footage, Flair is spotted on his cell phone with a drink in front of him sitting next to Scott Hall. In the closing of the video, you can see Hall reach for his beer.

Taz opens today’s show speaking about the online fan criticism directed at Jinder Mahal after he captured the WWE Championship at Backlash last night. A lot of fans seem to be angry at Mahal’s meteoric rise to the top of the WWE roster, along with claiming that he must be taking steroids to have a body like he does.

Taz points out that steroids don’t make you a better professional wrestler, and he says PED use means nothing to him in professional sports. He’s not suggesting that people start using PEDs, but he couldn’t care less if people do choose to use them at a professional level.

He says that he doesn’t know Jinder Mahal at all, but he’ll defend any wrestler who has paid his/her dues over the years, and Mahal has certainly done that. After dealing with a plethora of terrible gimmicks and then eventually getting released, Mahal worked his ass off and made it all the way back to the top and he deserves a lot of credit for that.

As far as fans’ criticisms that Mahal came out of nowhere to win this Title, Taz says that’s not the case at all. Mahal has been wrestling for many years, starting in Canada before getting signed by WWE initially many years ago. He was released from WWE in 2014 and worked around the world at indie events before being resigned by WWE. His hard work paid off, and this win certainly didn’t out of nowhere.
