Enzo Amore recently spoke with The Sun. Here are some highlights from the interview:

Thoughts on Neville: “Neville is one of my favourite pros in the business. He carried NXT with that title and was a tag-team champion there. Then he worked the 205 division with the hardest schedule in silence, he was working Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then Mondays and Tuesdays.

Why he wants him to come back: “When guys were catching red-eye flights from the west coast after Raw, Neville was driving on to the next town or taking an early morning flight. It’s the hardest schedule in pro wrestling because you are closing out 205 at the end of the week. I hope Neville comes back and we feud. I have never seen a guy work like he does. He might move better than anyone has ever moved in a ring – like the Dynamite Kid. I have seen him tear it up in matches that no one will ever see – absolute bangers – I would love to move around with him because that dude can dance.”

Traveling with Neville, Braun Strowman, and Big Cass and their music tastes: “I travel on my own and try to I float along to music. I travelled with Neville, he is my road dog, we travelled on NXT and FCW before that. He opened my eyes to a whole genre of music in reggae. And then I travel with Braun, who is introducing me to country music. And Big Cass was all about Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen.”

Ryback opens today’s show by informing that he’s going to be taking more indie bookings starting in March. He has one more injury that he has to take care of, hopefully in January, and he’s currently in discussions with WWE doctors about how to address it because the injury was suffered during his time working in WWE.

He speaks about selling some of his wrestling gear to fans. He mentions that he’s sold some of his singlets for thousands of dollars in the past, and he’s also sold his full ring gear including boots, gloves, kneepads and elbow pads for even more money.

Some fans are willing to pay a lot for memorabilia, especially ring worn materials. He also adds that it costs him $400-$500 to have one of his singlets made, so these people are only paying double the price for a legitimate, ring-worn piece of wrestling memorabilia.

Ryback talks about creating goals for yourself and doing everything in your power to achieve them. He’s only ever had one goal that he’s been unable to achieve, and that was becoming WWE Champion. He was in the WWE Title picture for a while but was unable to win the Belt, and he quickly realized that becoming WWE Champion was something that he couldn’t control, so he’s accepted that he mightn’t achieve that goal.

As previously reported, Dave Meltzer mentioned in the latest installment of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that AJ Styles probably won’t be facing John Cena at next year’s WrestleMania but instead The Undertaker was one of the names rumored as an opponent for Cena on the card.

It’s worth noting that the @WrestleVotes Twitter account, the same account that broke the story about Neville walking out on WWE, mentioned that Undertaker vs. Cena is not definite but it’s certainly “on the table” as a match being discussed for next year’s show.

Hearing Taker vs Cena is not definite but certainly "on the table". Many in WWE are still convinced Taker is done, hip surgery or not. Could be a result of his direct relationship with Vince. He only needs to tell him, & no one else. And Vince keeps everything w/ Taker hush.

Speaking of Undertaker vs. Cena, there is a poster floating around on the internet for the match. That poster is a fake and was made by a fan several months back.

Hideo Itami used a different finisher on this week’s episode of 205 Live, despite using the GTS on Monday’s episode of RAW.

Itami defeated Jack Gallagher with Neville’s Rings of Saturn finisher. While not confirmed, it’s now being speculated that WWE could be taking away his GTS finisher due to the injury to Brian Kendrick on Monday’s episode of RAW.

It was reported a few weeks back that the communication between Neville and WWE were said to be positive and he could be headed back to the company.

In an update to that report, PWInsider reports that negotiations for Neville’s WWE return have been abruptly halted. Neville’s future with the company now has a big question mark next to it.

The Shield In Action On Tonight’s RAW

With Roman Reigns returning to action tonight, it looks like The Shield will have their first match since reuniting on RAW instead of at Survivor Series. It’s being reported that the trio will face off with Sheamus, Cesaro, and The Miz on tonight’s show.

Neville Returning To WWE?

It’s being reported that Neville may actually return to WWE. The former Cruiserweight Champion was believed to be finished with the company after being extremely unhappy and walking out last month. But, apparently, the two sides have had some positive talks, and a return looks possible (with some saying it could happen by the end of this month).

On a personal note, if Neville returns, I hope it’s because it’s what he really wants to do and not because they are promising him the moon…only to have “plans change” down the road. It’s being proven more and more every day that wrestlers don’t need WWE to succeed, so hopefully Neville does what is best for him and isn’t fed a line of BS to lock him in somewhere. Also, I’d hate to see WWE exact some sort of “punishment” on-air if he does come back just to prove a point.

Paige Spotted At RAW

It appears the rumors are true. Paige, who has been out of action since last summer with an injury and two Wellness Policy suspensions, was spotted heading into Phillips Arena in Atlanta earlier today. So, we know she is back…whether or not she makes her on-air return on tonight’s show.

It looks like Neville may be making his return to WWE, despite reports of him asking for his release from the company.

According to PWInsider, recent talks between WWE and Neville have been positive and he could be returning to the company before the end of the month. One source close to the situation says that Neville could even be back even as early as this week but we won’t know for sure just yet.

As previously reported, Neville wasn’t happy with the direction of his character on WWE television and had a disagreement. There were reports that Neville didn’t like having to lose to Enzo Amore on several occasions but that actually wasn’t the case as the two have reportedly became close friends.

WWE sources denied reports that he was released from the company but he was later removed from the opening for 205 Live. At that time, Neville had pushed for a release from the company and wanted to build his name outside of WWE. Neville was never released and now it appears that the two sides could come to terms for his return.

There appears to be a couple of inaccurate reports regarding the situation with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn being sent home after Tuesday’s SmackDown Live tapings.

Dave Meltzer mentioned on the F4WOnline message board that reports of Owens being mad on the tour bus after the tapings are not true because he’s not even on the bus after the tapings. Additionally, Meltzer mentioned that this situation has nothing to do with the departures of Neville or Jimmy Jacobs.

Here is an excerpt of what Meltzer wrote:

“There’s a lot of untrue info.

For one, the story of Owens being mad on the tour bus after the tapings isn’t accurate. He was not even on the bus after the tapings.

The finish of the match was exactly as it was supposed to be. The post-match is a story that is being told different ways depending on how you hear it but that is the point of contention.

But that is the thing, any other stories are not accurate as it pertains to them being sent home.

None of this has to do with Neville, Jimmy Jacobs, etc.”

When asked about Owens & Zayn being brought back to television next week, Metlzer mentioned that it’s all up to Vince.

“It’s all up to Vince. He’s he guy who suspended Titus for 90 days for nothing. Trying to predict his reactions are a waste of time because they are often contradictory and make no sense. Neither is looking to leave.”

More Returns On Tonight’s RAW?

It looks like we may get a few more returns on tonight’s RAW. We’ve already reported that both Nia Jax and Samoa Joe are due back tonight, and now, it’s being reported that Bray Wyatt is backstage. Apparently, he has been cleared to return to the ring.

Braun Strowman is also backstage for tonight’s show.

Steve Austin On The Neville/WWE Situation

As everyone knows by now, Neville is apparently done with WWE. While there has been no official statement from either side, it’s pretty much common knowledge that Neville was very unhappy with his direction in WWE and quit the company.

In a recent interview, WWE Hall Of Famer Steve Austin reflected on the time he walked out on WWE and commented on Neville’s situation with the promotion.

“Well, my situation when I walked out, I wasn’t on board with the direction creative wanted to go. I was working my ass off and I just was not happy with that decision. So, I could have made a better decision with how I handled it. Just walking away like I did was a bad idea. I don’t know specifically what Neville’s business deal is or what his contract is or the circumstances under which he left. I know that any time you walk away from something and you don’t have that meeting or that one-on-one time with Vince or Paul or whoever it may be, but that’s the most prudent decision to make. By the same token, I can respect the guy that has enough balls to walk away just because he had a gut feeling like I did. I just wish him all the best in the world. In my opinion, he is an outstanding talent, he was really coming around with his gimmick and character, and he was a guy that I really liked watching. I’m sure a lot of people in the WWE Universe fell the same way. Hopefully he gets past this and whether he goes back to WWE or goes somewhere else, I hope he continues to have a successful career and have fun. At the end of the day, pro-wrestling, to be able to get paid to do that, it’s a fun job but it is a business and you need to get paid accordingly. I want the kid to have a great career, make his money and go on to the next phase of his life when it’s time to do that.”

As we all know by now, Neville is pretty much gone from WWE. As of this week, the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion was removed from the opening montage of 205 Live, so that’s just further evidence that he is done with the company.

Chris Jericho On Real Life Heat With Triple H

During a recent interview, Chris Jericho talked about having real-life heat with Triple H during his first run with WWE back in 2002.

“Triple H. In 2002, we didn’t like each other. I think we were almost pitted against each other in a lot of ways. We had great chemistry, great matches…I just didn’t like him, he didn’t like me, and there was no falseness. Now I love him. Great guy.”

Jericho had a lot to say on a lot of topics, and you can see the entire interview in the video below.

Horsewomen vs Horsewomen Moved To WrestleMania?

It was reported during the Mae Young Classic women’s tournament that WWE was talking about having a 4 Horsewomen of WWE vs 4 Horsewomen of UFC at this year’s Survivor Series. Ronda Rousey, Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir had a run in with WWE’s women at the tournament, and that set tongues wagging.

Since this year’s theme is RAW vs SmackDown Live, the rumored Survivor Series match won’t be happening. But, it is being reported now that WWE is planning on having the match at next year’s WrestleMania in New Orleans. The reasoning behind the move is to give the UFC women more time to hone their wrestling skills. Baszler is currently at the Performance Center after being signed to NXT, and Ronda Rousey was there just this past week.
