It was reported via Dave Meltzer in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Seth Rollins is currently dealing with a back issue. Seth Rollins has taken to Twitter to deny Meltzer’s claims.

Rollins wrote, “Guys, my back is fine. Has been fine. #fakenews”

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Oney Lorcan is currently out of action with an injury. Meltzer didn’t elaborate on the specifics of the injury but noted that it’s not too serious.

Lorcan’s last television match came at the November 29th NXT TV tapings as he and Danny Burch lost to The Authors of Pain.

WWE posted footage of Bate backstage and mentioned that the new (unnamed) 205 Live General Manager has invited him to the show and it has something to do with the Cruiserweight Championship.

Christian opens today’s show by speaking about his experience at RAW25 last Monday. He informs that he hadn’t been backstage at RAW in a long time, but after arriving there and talking with everyone he felt like he never left. It was nice to get out in front of the crowd and get some closure on that side of his career.

He really enjoyed his segment, even though he knew going in that it was going to be short. He loves that Jason Jordan is developing a character, and the audience is eating it up right now. Edge informs that he wasn’t sure about the Jordan/Seth Rollins tag team initially, but they’ve been proving him wrong over the last couple of weeks.

Edge and Christian welcome Corey Graves to the show.

Edge asks Graves how he deals with his hefty WWE schedule. Graves says he doesn’t mind the busy schedule because he’s always preferred to be busy his entire life. Even nowadays when he’s home for 3 or 4 days on an odd week he nearly goes crazy. Edge points out that when you’re gone your family has a way of doing things, so when you get home you become a huge “fleshy wrench” that’s been thrown into their plans.

Graves informs that he had an awesome experience calling RAW 25 last Monday. He admits that he became a kid again during the Steve Austin/Vince McMahon segment. Graves was sitting ringside when Austin’s music hit, and he says that was probably the loudest he’s ever heard an arena.

PWInsider reports that Enzo Amore was originally scheduled to appear on Monday’s RAW before the rape allegations against surfaced online.

WWE reportedly had plans for Enzo to face off against Goldust in the third hour of the show from the Barclays Center. The match would have seen The Dudley Boyz coming out and getting involved after Enzo’s attack on Goldust and Cedric Alexander. It would have concluded with Enzo being put through a table.

Once WWE made the decision to suspend Enzo and remove him from the show, they re-wrote the segment to feature Titus O’Neil & Apollo Crews vs. Heath Slater & Rhyno with the Dudleys putting Slater through a table. Goldust and Alexander were removed from the RAW plans as a result of the changes.

During the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed Chris Jericho’s status for the RAW 25th Anniversary show and described the situation as “up in the air” for right now.

Meltzer said that as of Friday there wasn’t a finalized deal for Jericho to appear at the event. Meltzer said that both parties are still negotiating for the appearance on Monday and WWE will do everything they can to bring Jericho in because they are advertising him for the event.

WWE announced this past Monday that Bill Goldberg will be inducted into the 2018 Hall of Fame class. Dave Meltzer discussed the announcement in the last issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter and mentioned that the plan right now is for Paul Heyman to induct Goldberg into the Hall of Fame this year.

Other rumored names for this year’s induction ceremony include The Dudley Boyz, Ivory, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Kid Rock going into the Celebrity Wing.

The 2018 WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Friday, April 6th at 7:30pm EST from the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

As seen on Monday’s episode of RAW, Braun Strowman attacked Kane & Brock Lesnar backstage and used a grappling hook and pulled down a lighting truss onto his Royal Rumble opponents.

WWE issued the following “storyline” update on Kane and Lesnar:

“After Braun Strowman used a grappling hook to tear down a lighting truss and send it crashing down on Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Kane, WWE.com can confirm that Lesnar is undergoing examination by WWE medical personnel. Kane, meanwhile, refused medical attention. It is unknown how this incident will affect the Universal Championship Triple Threat Match at Royal Rumble involving all three Superstars”

WWE has announced that Enzo Amore will defend his WWE Cruiserweight Championship Title against Cedric Alexander on Monday’s episode of RAW. The match was originally scheduled for last week’s show but was postponed because Amore was hospitalized.

Here is the official announcement on the match:

“It is now official that Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore will defend his Cruiserweight Title against Cedric Alexander tomorrow night on Raw.

The match, originally scheduled to take place last week, had to be postponed after The Certified G was hospitalized with the flu. However, with Amore now out of the hospital and ready to compete, he will square off against one of the most dynamic and toughest challengers to his title reign – 205 Live standout Alexander.

Will Enzo be at full health for the title contest, or will Raw be Cedric’s night to rise to the top of the Cruiserweight division? And how will the Zo Train factor into the major championship match? Find out tomorrow night on Raw!”

On today’s episode of The Taz Show, Taz will debut a new weekly special entitled, “Throwback Snack”. Once a week, Taz will watch, analyze and break down a classic match from years gone by. On today’s show, he will discuss the classic 1985 match between Ric Flair and Ron Garvin which aired live from the TBS Studio in Atlanta.

This was an NWA Championship match, and Taz thought the television studio setting was a very intriguing place for this bout to take place. He thought this match was an awesome, physical bout, and he begins his detailed analysis from start to finish.

The commentary team for this match was Tony Schiavone and David Crockett. He’s always been a fan of Schiavone’s work, from his early NWA days continuing on to his work for WCW during the Monday Night Wars.

On the other hand, he wasn’t a fan of David Crockett’s commentary work at all, and he says it’s a good thing that Crockett’s family owned the business because if they didn’t he probably wouldn’t have lasted long in that position. Taz feels that Schiavone should have been the lead commentator here, not Crockett.
