As of this writing there are only six matches announced for the upcoming WWE Hell in a Cell event. Those match as as followed:

Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens

WWE Title Championship
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Jinder Mahal

WWE United States Championship
Baron Corbin vs. AJ Styles

SmackDown Women’s Championship
Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch

Hell In a Cell Tag Team Championship
The Usos vs. The New Day

Dolph Ziggler vs. Bobby Roode

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Randy Orton vs. Rusev will be added to the card. Meltzer speculates that the match will most-like be a “Last Man Standing” match, as they recently did that match while in Japan.

Dave Meltzer indicated on Wrestling Observer Radio that we may be getting a rematch at the upcoming Hell in a Cell event in October.

While nothing is confirmed, it appears that Jinder Mahal defending the WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura will take place inside the steel structure at the event. WWE will be slowly building for the match, as it is over a month away from taking place.

Hell in a Cell takes place on October 8th at the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
