As previously reported, Chris Jericho has been feuding with Kenny Omega via Twitter, which many are speculating that it’s a work to set up a match between the two on Jericho’s cruiser next year.

Here is the latest exchange between the two:

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest installment of The wrestling Observer Newsletter that Roman Reigns was diagnosed with mumps just a few days after the October 16th episode of RAW.

Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Bo Dallas are all scheduled to be medically examined this upcoming Monday ahead of RAW. The belief is Reigns will be the captain of the RAW Survivor Series team if he is cleared to return. If he is unable to return in time for Survivor Series, there is a good chance his return could be held off until after the show.

It was mentioned on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that there may be some concern backstage with Kurt Angle’s return at Sunday’s WWE TLC event.

The belief is that Angle may take some unnecessary risks during the match, as his mentality is one where he doesn’t want to just be “another guy in the background.” It wouldn’t be surprising to hear reports of WWE officials telling him to tone it down before the match.

Speaking of Kurt Angle, he is pretty much a lock for the working additional WWE pay-per-view events in the future now that he’s been cleared to return.

Dave Meltzer mentioned in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the reports of WWE Superstars wanting out of their contracts are completely overblown.

Meltzer mentions that there are guys who will explore options when their contracts are up, but only a few of them. Meltzer also added that unless you are young and single, a lot of people will not take the chance and try to make it on the indies.

Meltzer says that, “the speculation and rumors going around about a mass exodus are way overblown.”

Dave Meltzer mentioned on the latest installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon created a wound on his forehead and covered it up with Vaseline before he came out for his in-ring segment with Kevin Owens. Meltzer explained that how the headbutt from Owens reopened the wound and he bled on television, which was part also part of the plans for the segment.

In regards to what didn’t happen, Stephane McMahon was supposed to run out to the ring with a towel to clean up the blood as it gushed out of Vince’s head. That never happened on Tuesday night.
