#WWE announced today that #EricBischoff will be the one to induct #DiamondDallasPage into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 33 weekend.

Below is their full announcement:

Eric Bischoff to induct Diamond Dallas Page into the WWE Hall of Fame
Former Raw General Manager and WCW figurehead Eric Bischoff will induct his close friend, Diamond Dallas Page, into the WWE Hall of Fame on Friday, March 31, live on WWE Network.

“I’m honored,” Bischoff told WWE.com in an exclusive interview. “It puts a smile on my face because I know how much it means to him. This is the Holy Grail for him.”

* Page and Bischoff’s relationship dates to the late ’80s, when the two started out as part of WWE Hall of Famer Verne Gagne’s AWA – Bischoff as an announcer and DDP as the outlandish manager of Badd Company. The two eventually headed toward WCW, where Bischoff had an up-close view of DDP’s ascent from wrestling obscurity to superstardom as a champion of the people in WCW’s fight against the nWo.

“So many [wrestlers] are larger than life,” Bischoff said. “They look like they walked right off a movie screen and stepped into the arena. Diamond Dallas Page didn’t have that larger-than-life persona, but he had a different connection with the audience.”

“When [Page] finally hit pay dirt is when he finally shed all the over-the top-stuff,” he continued. “The bling and girls and cigars … [He] just became a real person, coming down from the crowd. That said, ‘I’m one of you.'”

* As Bischoff quickly learned, the persona Page projected in the ring worked because it was real.

“His journey [in life] is similar to his journey in the ring,” he said. “DDP was the common guy, the everyman, a blue-collar guy from New Jersey. He represented something that the average person could believe in, in a way that was a little unique. [People thought] ‘That could be me. If I could just get that break, work a little harder, I could be that guy.’ That’s a very inspirational quality to have.”

* Bischoff is incredibly excited to present DDP to the WWE Universe as a member of the Hall’s Class of 2017, though he admits a few nerves are bubbling up.

“It’s a little overwhelming, in some respects,” he said. “But I’ll save the reasons why for the ceremony itself, because they’re very personal and poignant.”

WWE announced the following:

JBL & Ron Simmons to induct Teddy Long into the WWE Hall of Fame

JBL and Ron Simmons will have the privilege of inducting their longtime friend and frequent travel companion, Teddy Long, into the WWE Hall of Fame.

“It’s an incredible honor,” JBL told WWE.com. “I’ve always thought that inducting someone into the WWE Hall of Fame is one of the greatest privileges you can get because it’s the honor of a lifetime for the person going in.”

JBL and Simmons’ close relationship with Long makes it all the more special. The brawlers known as The APA traveled the roads with Long and 2016 inductee, The Godfather.

“We rode thousands and thousands of miles together for years – me, Ron, Teddy and Godfather in one car,” JBL explained. “It’s real special. Ron’s in the Hall of Fame, Godfather’s in the Hall of Fame, and now Teddy is, too.

“I’m the only one left,” he joked.

Their friendship aside, JBL believes Long is one of the worthiest recipients of sports-entertainment’s ultimate honor.

“Teddy Long is a groundbreaker,” the former World Champion said. “He worked his way up from the ring crew to become the manager of one of the greatest tag teams of all time in Doom. He was a referee and became one of the most colorful general managers ever. Teddy Long has done it all. If there’s anybody deserving of going into the WWE Hall of Fame, it’s him.”

Styles and Roman Reigns are two of the names being discussed to switch brands soon.

This could be a logical step after Daniel Bryan fired AJ Styles from Smackdown Live this past week.

If this happens it could be a great addition to RAW brand as the flagship show is no more the A brand on WWE television. AJ Styles feuding with the likes of Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and even Samoa Joe will be a treat for the universe.

Sources around the world have claimed that Roman Reigns in this feud will be the bad guy and finally turn heel. But as per the latest news Vince Mcmahon has no plans whatsoever to turn THE GUY into a BAD GUY.
If this is true then things are not getting anywhere in favor of Reigns as the crowd has never welcomed him as the face of the company.

Rick Rude  performed for many promotions, including World Championship Wrestling (WCW), World Wrestling Federation (WWF), and Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW).

Rude wrestled from 1982 until his 1994 retirement due to injury, with a final match following in 1997. Among other accolades, he was a four-time world champion (three-time WCW International World Heavyweight Champion and one-time WCWA World Heavyweight Champion), a one-time WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion, and a one-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion. Rude also challenged for the WWF World Heavyweight Championship and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship on pay-per-view.

Rude was the co-founder of D Generation X stable along with Triple H, Shawn Michaels & Chyna.

Then The Undertaker issued a statement after he chokeslammed Roman Reigns flat in the middle of the ring.

Also in The Goldberg’s first movement as The Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar w/ Paul Heyman confronted Goldberg. After Paul Heyman delivered an amazing promo just like any other day, before you know it, Golberg was uplifted by Brock on his shoulders & was laid down with a F5.

In the other segment, Charlotte Flair bashed Sasha banks & Bayley after their match.

Sasha Banks defeated Bayley and stoned her position for Wrestlemania Women’s Championship match.

So it is final that Bayley will defend her title against both Charlotte & Sasha Banks 

Triple H issued a warning to Seth Rollins for their match at Wrestlemania

Chris Jericho is all set to face Kevin Owens at Wrestlemania 33 for the US Title. Y2J was involved in a match against ‘The Destroyer’ Samoa Joe.

Samoa Joe was than caught with a code breaker outta nowhere by Jericho.

Could WWE for heaven’s sake stop ridiculing their champions right before Wrestlemania. What they did with KO was terrible & what they are doing now should have been done since day 1 of Owen’s championship reign.
The match between Goldberg & Brock Lesnar is very much predictable just like the women’s division. YAWN !
And god held The Undertaker, please don’t be surprised if he is buried by Roman Reigns in 30 seconds or so. Braun Strowman is long buried by now if you have not perceived that yet.

OK! So let me put it up for you in the simplest way possible. If you haven’t watched the show yet, don’t waste your time. Do something productive & enthusiastic. Have a walk or watch a new film running in theatre. Just DON”T Waste your time. Kevin Owens looked like a clown again although his rivalry was Y2J has kick-started who interfered in the match, so technically KO didn’t loose clean but he lost in 22 seconds. Will Goldberg ever be involved in a match that lasts in minutes & not seconds. I mean this is no WCW.


Samoa Joe looked like a monster which was thumbs up. And just how Charlotte’s undefeated streak at PPVs came to an end just like that in match which was full of botches by the Women’s champion. Nothing more in this PPV is worth it.

“It’s still kind of an ongoing process right now,” Swagger told host Chael Sonnen Wednesday. “Basically, it came down to contract negotiations, and we were way off. They didn’t value me at what I thought I was valued at.”

The two-time WWE Champion said it came down to a “business decision.”

He added, “They weren’t giving me the opportunity to make the full amount of income I could for my family, so when you put it like that — it’s time to go.”

Swagger admitted it was “very frustrating” to perform every night and “entertain these fans” and not get the salary he wanted.

“We want to know we’re working towards something,” he explained.
Swagger has only left WWE but not pro-wrestling. He will be there as a free agent and work for other promotions in UK, Mexico and Japan. Also MMA is on his mind.
