X-Pac opens today’s show speaking about WWE’s suspension of Rich Swann amidst domestic violence allegations. He hopes that the reports aren’t true because if they are this is a terribly tragic situation for many reasons. He recalls WWE suspending Kevin Nash for a similar set of circumstances right before his Hall of Fame induction a couple of years ago, so there’s no denying that WWE is steadfast when it comes to their zero tolerance policy regarding domestic violence.

X-Pac thought the recent interaction between Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega in Japan did wonders in building hype towards their match at WrestleKingdom 12. He wonders if we’ll see a rematch between these two when NJPW visits the United States in the new year.

He points out that Sasha Banks and Alexa Bliss made history last week by wrestling a match in India. The women have been doing incredible things over the last couple of years and they continue to break down barriers. Being the first two women to wrestle in India must have been an amazing feeling for those two women.

The Hell in a Cell match is undoubtedly one of the best gimmick matches in history. There have numerous instant classics contested within the Cell. Who can forget Undertaker v. Big Boss Man? Or Undertaker v. Kane?

There have been 36 different matches, with more than 20 wrestlers having been inside the Cell. It’s easy to forget some of the guys who sacrificed their bodies in the Devil’s Playground. Here are four guys you may have forgotten competed inside Satan’s Structure.

Paul Heyman (Hell in a Cell, 2013)

In the summer of 2013, Paul Heyman betrayed his client CM Punk, so they had a big fight. Eventually, due to reasons, CM Punk would face everyone’s favorite meathead Ryback. There was a twist, though. Heyman would be teaming with Ry”Da Big Guy”Back in a 2-on-1 handicap Hell in a Cell match.

Heyman, being a manager, avoided the brunt of the battle by climbing on top of the Cell before the match started. The doors were locked, and he was supposedly safe from Punk. He was then treated to a bird’s eye view of Punk casually murdering Ryback in the Cell. A GTS ended the match, and Punk quickly made his way up the Cell, and he had a kendo stick with him.

Punk proceeded to whack the life out of his former manager with the Kendo stick atop of the Cell before putting him to sleep with a GTS.

Some partner Heyman was.

WWE SummerSlam Main Event Plans

Despite all the rumors of next year’s WrestleMania being headlined by Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, it looks like that match is being scheduled for this year’s WWE SummerSlam. It’s being reported that WWE is planning to go ahead and have the two men face off next month, and with Roman’s recent losses to Braun Strowman and Samoa Joe, it appears that he has ready-made feuds already in place.

One reason for pushing up the match is so that the Universal Title will be a regular fixture on WWE television.

Kevin Nash Undergoing Surgery

WWE Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash noted on his Twitter yesterday that he will be undergoing knee surgery soon.

32 surgeries? That man has some bad luck when it comes to his legs.

Tammy Sytch Update

We reported last week that WWE Hall Of Famer Tammy Sytch, also known as Sunny, was hospitalized after a fall. This is just the most recent happening in a long line of issues she’s had recently. As of last Thursday, she was still in the hospital, at least according to her Twitter account.

She also noted on her Facebook page that she will not be giving details on her health due to people writing about her and posting pictures of her after her fall.

“I’m still In the hospital but I won’t be sharing any details about my health because every time I do, websites write about me and post my bloody head pictures. Sorry, but I can not give any details any longer. At all. Thank you all for your concern. I’ll be here for a couple more days.”

I will say that there were aspersions cast around that when she would be seen with certain people in the restaurant, or restaurant bar at the Double Tree after the events and they would be pouring the wine for her to tell her how great she was, but I couldn’t speak as intelligently as Scott Hall when it comes to that, because one of the aspersions that are being cast about that is a “very good friend” of his.

Kevin Nash was at TNA for a year after he debuted along-side Scott Hall in the fall of 2004. When Hall left in 2005, ”Big Kev” Kevin Nash was booked to face ”King of the Mountain” Jeff Jarrett for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at TNA Bound for Glory PPV (2005) but backed out from the event due to chest issues. Shortly after, Nash left TNA and then returned in 2006 and remained with the company till 2011.

There have been reports going around that Dixie Carter had been involved with some of the guys in the TNA Locker Room.

There was also a rumor that Dixie Carter had released Kevin Nash from his contract to go back to WWE because if she didn’t, he was going to tell everyone about their “relationship.”
