Former WWE Superstar Kaitlyn (Celeste Bonin) posted the following video talking about her early career in WWE, leaving the company, her personal relationship and her battles with addiction. Josh Mathews On Jeff Jarrett’s Impact Departure

During yet another Impact Wrestling conference call today, Josh Mathews addressed Impact cutting all ties with Jeff Jarrett.

“I’m not privy to when the decision was made. I was told when you guys were told, probably a little bit beforehand. I think if you look at it logically, and if you look at everything that was happening from when we made the original announcement about the time of being away for a while, I think a final decision had to be made before Bound For Glory, before were were going to get up to Ottawa. The decision was made when it was made, and now we can move forward with what we’re trying to do with Impact.”

We’ve been reporting on Jarrett’s issues this past weekend during an indie appearance, but whether or not that had anything to do with Anthem and Impact Wrestling finally terminating him is still up in the air. But, if I was a betting gal, I’d say that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.

Kaitlyn Opens Up About Her Addiction Issues

Former WWE Diva Kaitlyn took to Instagram today to discuss her addiction issues. The former Diva’s Champion was candid about her struggles and her continuing road to recovery in her social media post.

She says, in part:

It’s been one year since I checked myself into the hospital for a medical drug detox. (I took this picture in the airport bathroom after flying into LAX.I felt so awful and disgusted with myself but I remember posting it on Instagram with some stupid caption about being happy. I was actually on the last days of the medicine to help me detox and was in a super fucked up place mentally and physically). Over the past few years I was in a terrible marriage, an addict and not true to myself. It took me so long to admit I had a problem… and then to admit how serious the problem was. I used to pretend to be and to live a certain way for social media. It’s everyone’s hi-light reel.

I remember getting out of the hospital feeling like death, with a medical taper plan of meds and thinking "what have I done to myself?". I celebrated my 30th birthday 5 days later and I remember wanting to die. If you've ever gone through serious drug detox, you know that you basically go through two detoxes. One from the initial drug(s) and then another one from the medicine used to help you detox. A lot of people get hooked on the medicine and remain addicts. For me, I started abusing alcohol to deal with the chemical imbalances, panic attacks and sadness/depression I was experiencing. If you know me, you know I had never done a drug in my life leading up to this (besides smoking weed once or twice and freaking the fuck out.) It's so crazy. You can have the world at your fingertips but end up destroying yourself if you're not careful. I'm fortunate enough to have pulled myself out of it all and was able rebuild my life …but I can seriously empathize with anyone who is, has been, or has a tendency to be an addict (we're all addicted to something). But it's about self awareness and humility. Never be too proud to ask for help. Be able to wake up and look at yourself in the mirror. Tag someone who needs to read this. #addiction

Ross opens today’s show by thanking fans for giving the Mae Young Classic a chance. Apparently the show has been doing very good on the WWE Network, and he’s happy that fans are enjoying watching the product as much as he enjoyed working on it. He says that all 32 women were very proud to be a part of this monumental tournament, and he was as well.

Ross thinks it’s only a matter of time before Ronda Rousey makes an appearance in WWE, however he thinks it will be a one-off appearance. He doesn’t think we’ll see Rousey accept a full-time roll in WWE right now with all the other opportunities she has, but maybe that’ll change at some point in the future.

Ross welcomes former WWE Diva Kaitlyn to the show.

Kaitlyn informs that her brands are very important to her. She considers herself a brand, but she also started a clothing company as well which has been in business for three years now. She says that she’s 30 years old now, and last year was the most important year of her life.

Former Divas Champion At WWE Event

Former WWE superstar Kaitlyn was spotted backstage for WWE’s live event in Miami, Florida. She posted photos on her Instagram with SmackDown Live’s Natalya, Tamina, and SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi. Kaitlyn and Naomi’s WWE careers jumpstarted in 2010 during season three of NXT, back when the program was a competition-based wrestling show. Kaitlyn won the third season, while Naomi was the runner up. Kaitlyn later went on to win the WWE Divas Championship in 2013, and approximately a year later she retired from the company to pursue other endeavors.

Surround yourself with likeminded people. Associate yourself with people that lift you up. Strong women empower each other. They don't tear each other down. I've laughed, cried, bled and triumphed with these women and it created an unbreakable bond. No matter how much time goes by, we always pick right back up. I'm so proud to see them doing big things, breaking molds and forging paths. Here's to the ever evolving world of women's wrestling. Yes, I'm smelling T's hair. Kaitlyn also had time to be involved in a comical video featuring Big E and Xavier Woods. The reoccurring joke here is Big E and Kaitlyn were also good friends during her time on the main roster. He was also involved in a feud with AJ Lee against Kaitlyn a few years ago where he portrayed as Kaitlyn’s secret admirer.

Love Leaves Global Force Wrestling

Angelina Love has officially departed from Global Force Wrestling (GFW). The six-time TNA Knockouts Champion and one-time TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champion disclosed she asked for her release from the company and it appeared GFW immediately granted her release.

Love may be best known for her “The Beautiful People” stable with Velvet Sky, who retired from professional wrestling last month to finish her college education. Love left and returned to Impact Wrestling on four occasions, most recently in January 2017. She was also once contracted by the WWE between 2004 and 2007 but only stayed in the company’s developmental promotions.
