Wolfgang Injured

It’s being reported that UK star Wolfgang was injured during his WWE UK Championship match with Pete Dunne in Aberdeen last week. There’s no word on how serious the injury is, but it was enough for Wolfgang to be pulled from this weekend’s PROGRESS Chapter 57 show where he was scheduled to face Doug Williams.

No word yet on when Wolfgang will be back in action. Well wishes going out to him for a full and speedy recovery.

Jake Roberts On Ric Flair

Jake Roberts knows all about addiction, so it’s not surprising that he has some thoughts on Ric Flair’s recent health issues. Flair was hospitalized over the summer with some serious health problems that stemmed from his alcoholism. During a recent interview, Roberts said that he had reached out to Flair, but that Flair didn’t seem to want help from anyone.

“I even tried to help Mr. Flair and I hope Ric can do it. He’s sure going at it with the wrong attitude. He thinks he snapped his fingers, that he can just beat it. There’s a lot more to it. … He’s in the hospital and he’s made that decision to quit drinking. My God I made that decision a million times and he thinks that’s all there is to it. There’s a lot more to it because you know why he’s in that hospital, that disease we call alcoholism is outside doing pushups getting ready for him to come out of the hospital. You’re in a guarded position in the hospital. You know, there’s not a lot of alcohol around.”
