Future Plans Revealed for Sasha Banks

Coming out of Monday’s episode of RAW, Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that the company is setting up a mix tag match that feature Alicia Fox and Noam Dar vs. Sasha Banks and a male partner.

Meltzer indicated that Banks’ partner will probably be Cedric Alexander, as Alexander has history with Noam Dar and Alicia Fox prior to his injury. With Alexander scheduled to return from injury on this week’s episode of 205 Live, it’s very possible that they set up the match as early as tonight.

In regards to the RAW Women’s Championship, Banks isn’t expected to be put back in the title picture anytime soon. Right now they are doing a program between Alexa Bliss and Bayley.

Top NXT Superstar “Significantly Injured”

Triple H mentioned in the post-NXT Takeover: Chicago Q&A on Facebook live that Tommaso Ciampa is dealing with a significant injury. It was not made clear if he was talking about the previous ankle injury that he suffered at Thursday’s NXT Live Event or if it’s something new. We will keep you updated if we hear anything new regarding his situation.

Ember Moon Out of Action for Six Months

WWE aired footage during tonight’s NXT Takeover pre-show of Ember Moon talking about her injury and revealed that she will miss up to six months of in-ring action on NXT. She mentioned that she is thankful that the injury wasn’t more serious or even fatal.

Ember indicated that she would be going after the NXT Women’s Championship once she returns.

Cedric Alexander Returning to Action from Injury

PWInsider reports Cedric Alexander is scheduled for RAW and SmackDown television events this week.

Alexander has been out of action since suffering a knee injury back in February. Original prognostics called for Alexander to be out of action for 3-5 months, which is par with PWInsider’s story.

Prior to his injury he was involved in the storyline with Alicia Fox before breaking up with her after she cost him a match on RAW.
