While appearing on Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia, Paige discussed how disappointed she was to hear the news about Emma’s release from WWE.

“I was so sad for her because I know how much her life revolves around WWE,” Paige said. “She’s fine. she’s good. She’s like, ‘I get it…I wish I could be there.’”

Paige continued, “She’s traveling the world, experiencing life. She’s inspirational.”

Paige told Garcia even though she is confused by Emma’s release, she does not want to ruffle any feathers by asking questions.

“I still don’t know. I still don’t get it. A lot of people don’t understand,” Paige said. “You know what, I’m not even going to pry when it comes to it.”

Paige said she expects Emma to make a big name for herself on the independent wrestling scene.

Emma has not wrestled since leaving WWE but has several independent dates lined up beginning in February. One event she has line up is an Impact Wrestling taping, but it’s unknown at this time if she will actually appear on television at the event.

While appearing Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia, Nikki Bella revealed that she was almost abducted one time back when she was 15 years old.

“I remember walking home one day from school and this car pulled up behind me really slow and it gave me a really weird feeling and all of a sudden it skimmed me and the man was half naked and tried to pull me into his car and saying crazy things to me.”

She continued, “It was terrifying. I remember like fighting, running to the nearest house, screaming, crying (and) like praying the person the person was home because I didn’t know I was being chased. Being a 15-year-old girl, that year I went through so much and it like broke me.”

Xavier Woods had some words about The Shield today on Twitter when responded to a tweet about Tuesday’s SmackDown segment. Woods went on to say that The Shield isn’t even a real team because each member basically has their own personal agenda.

PWInsider reports that some talents at this week’s Impact tapings were unhappy that Alberto El Patron has his own private locker room (trailer) while all the other male talents have to share one locker room. Patron’s deal with the company calls for him to have his own private locker room when they are at the tapings.

Speaking of Patron, he left Ottawa this morning and will not be at the final television tapings tonight. Also, his Bound for Glory promo was cut from the UK airing of the show.

PWInsider reports that former WWE Superstar Santino Marella (Anthony Carelli) is backstage at tonight’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view. As of this writing, it’s unknown if he will be appearing on camera.

Additionally, we can now confirm that Jimmy Jacobs is backstage at the event. Our earlier report only mentioned that he was rumored.

Another source also confirmed to PWInsider that they saw Tessa Blanchard backstage as well.

According to PWInsider, former WWE creative writer Jimmy Jacobs is expected to be coming in for this week’s Impact television tapings and could be starting as early as tonight’s Bound for Glory event. Jacobs worked in Illinois last night for AAW, so it wouldn’t be an impossible task to get to Ottawa.

There is a trailer backstage at the event marked “DO NOT ENTER”, so the company could be hiding someone backstage.

Impact Wrestling announced on twitter that Rosemary vs. Taya Valkyrie “Red Wedding” will not take place at Sunday’s Bound for Glory event. They said that Valkyrie will be unable to make the show and the TV tapings next week.

Due to circumstances beyond our control @TheTayaValkyrie will not be at #BFG2017 or the tapings. We look forward to seeing Taya in 2018.

It was announced during Thursday’s Impact Wrestling episode that Taryn Terrell has been pulled from the Knockouts title match at the upcoming Bound for Glory pay-per-view event.

Taryn revealed that she’s not able to be cleared by doctors after the slap she receivedfrom Gail Kim, where she is rumored to have suffered a concussion.

According to PWInsider, there was a lot of interest in bringing in former WWE Superstar Jack Swagger into the company when Jeff Jarrett and Dutch Mantel were heading the creative for Impact Wrestling. Mantell even mentioned during a conference call for Global Force Wrestling back in July that Swagger may pop up in GFW.

Swagger mentioned to WrestleZone earlier this year that he would have enjoyed working with Dutch Mantell again.

“It would be awesome to work with Dirty Dutch Mantell again, good friend of mine. So we’ll just have to see. I’m in the process of lining up a calendar, and getting a lot of shows, I think I’m booked for the summer with shows. So I’m gonna be anywhere, you can see me in Australia, on Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore tour.”

It’s almost safe to say that those plans are no longer on the table, as Jarrett and Mantel are no longer head of creative for the company. If he was to appear on Impact television, it wouldn’t be until Bound for Glory or after, as the company has already taped all the television up until that date.

PWInsider spoke with Impact Wrestling’s Josh Mathews about the disappearance of the Global Force Wrestling name on the promotional material sent out today. Mathews made the following remarks about the change:

“You know, I wish I could tell you everything and tell you that ‘this is what it’s going to be’, because I think we did a great job in January of getting rid of TNA, of getting rid of that brand and becoming Impact, then becoming GFW,” said Matthews. “Now, you’re right, if you look at that graphic, it says Impact Bound for Glory, and that’s the brand we are bringing to Ottawa. Those are the tapings that is coming to Ottawa. That’s the show that’s coming, Impact. I know that doesn’t really answer a whole lot of questions, but that’s what we’re doing. That’s what we’re bringing up there. That’s what you’re going to see and after what you see on November 5th, to be determined, I suppose.”

Mathews also mentioned that there has been discussions earlier today about possibly changing the name for the planned Global Wrestling Network stream service, however nothing had been decided in that regard.
