It was previously reported that Eddie Edwards was injured at Saturday’s Impact Wrestling television tapings in Orlando, Florida and had to be hospitalized during the show.

In an update, Edwards revealed on Twitter that he suffered a couple broken bones, couple of cuts and a black eye. PWInsider also reports that Edwards underwent a CT scan and was diagnosed with several broken bones in his face and also had a broken nose.

* Xposion: Rohit Raju defeated unknown talent.

* Fantasma defeats Braxton Sutter. After the match, Sutter cuts a promo and mentioned that Allie isn’t out there because she ruins lives. Sutter says he’s the biggest star the company has ever seen and gets nothing for it. Brian Cage comes out and destroys Sutter.

* Rosemary defeats Hania. After the match, Rosemary cuts an in-ring promo and says Hania is just a puppy dog. The Demon Assasin is still the alpha. She is taking back what rightfully belongs to the shadow. “We want that KO championship.” Taya is out to confront Rosemary. Taya tells Rosemary she finds what she has to say hilarious. Taya says she is lucha royalty and the star of the show. Taya attacks Rosemary and lays her out on the ramp.

* KM walks the Knockout’s title down the ramp and then introduces LVN. KM says he’s an ordained minister and will marrying LVN and the title. KM says “It’s 2018 and that’s a real thing.” Sutter out to object. Cage tried to kill him and he saw what was most important, it was LVN. A year ago he made the biggest mistake of his life. Allie ruins lives. Sutter proposes that he, LVN, and the title spend their lives together. LVN says no. KM says “Epic fail, bro!” Allie comes out to object and beats down LVN. Allie stands tall to end the segment.

* Kongo Kong w/Jimmy Jacobs are out. Jacobs asked Park kindly to bring Abyss. Grandma Jenny Park comes out. She’s had enough of the way they’ve treated Joseph. They need to stop or else. Joseph Park out to confront Kong. Told the world Abyss is never coming back. Jacobs says Chandler was the beginning and would hate it if something happened to Grandma Jenny. Kong attacks Joseph.

* Eli Drake & Chris Adonis make their way out. Chris Adonis is celebrating the life of Eli Drake. Former WWE Superstar Austin Aries interrupts. Austin Aries takes offense to Eli Drake saying he was The Greatest Man to ever live. Aries says if Eli wants to be the greatest, he has to beat Aries. Chris Adonis attack’s Aries from the back. Eli calls out a ref. The match is in progress.

* Eli Drake vs Austin Aries for the World title. Austin Aries defeats him for the title in a quick match.

* Taiji Ishimori & Matt Sydal defeat Rohit Raju & El Hijo Del Fantasma.

* Cult of Lee defeats T.E.C.H.

* LAX on the screen, Konnan let’s Cult of Lee know they are coming for them and there is nothing they can do.

* Kiera Hogan vs. Laurel Van Ness (Again) Non-title. Laurel gets the win and attacksHogan after the match. Allie makes the save and poses with the belt.

* Hania defeats Amber Nova. Rosemary attacks Hania after the match, Hania runs away.

* EC3 vs. Moose vs. Alberto El Patron vs. Johnny Impact. Johnny Impact pins EC3 and is the #1 contender to the World Title. Mosse is helped to the back after the match. He may have suffered an injury.

* Xplosion: OVE defeats T.E.C.H.

* Xplosion: Rosemary defeats Amber Nova.

It was reported last week that Paige was removed from WWE events after she suffered an injury after Sasha Banks kicked her in the face at the WWE Live Event in Long Island, NY.

In an update, PWInsider reports that Paige is backstage for tonight’s RAW event in Miami, Florida. The word going around backstage is that she has not been cleared to return to in-ring action. It’s very likely that she doesn’t appear on television tonight.

We will keep you updated if we hear anything else regarding her status for tonight’s show.

As reported earlier today, 205 Live Superstar Rich Swann was arrested early this morning at 12:09 AM in Gainesville, Florida and charged with Kidnapping/False imprisonment.

In an update, the Gainesville Police Department has released the report on the arrest and revealed that the victim in the case was Swann’s wife and fellow wrestler Su Yung.

(Note: Vic is Victim and Def is Defendant)

“On the above date and time at the above location the Vic and Def were engaged in an argument. Both the Vic and Def are professional wrestlers and the Vic had just put on a show at 8 seconds in downtown Gainesville. The Def was critiquing the Vic’s performance and began getting angry with her. The Vic got scared that the argument was going to escalate and got out of the car in the area of 2400 SE Hawthorne Rd. The Def stopped his vehicle in the middle of traffic and the Vic jumped out. The Def gave chase and yelled for the Vic to get back in the car. The Vic told the Def she did not want to get back in the car as she continued to walk away. The Def then grabbed the Vic by her arm and then around her neck with his arm. He placed her in a headlock and dragged her back to their vehicle. The Vic screamed for help as the Def pushed her in the car.

Wit 1 observed this happen and called LEA. Wit 1 said that she saw the Def chase after the Vic and put her in a headlock and shove her back in the car while she screamed for help. Wit 1 said that the Vic was beating on the window screaming for help as they drove away again. Wit 1 said that the Vic seemed very afraid of the Def and was trying to get away from him.

Wit.2 observed the vehicle driven by the Def driving erratically in the area of 1500 E University Ave. Wit 2 saw the Vic jump out of the vehicle while it was moving and run away. Wit 2 saw the Def get out of the car while it was still moving and chase after the Vic. The car was not in park and continued to roll until it hit a telephone pole on the corner of NE 15th St and E University Ave.

The Vic stated that she was afraid of the Def because he has a temper sometimes. She said she was trying to get away from him because she was scared that their argument would escalate into physical violence. The Vic said that the Def grabbed her by the arm and pulled her back into the car even though she did not want to go with him. The Vic said she told the Def to pull over so she could get out but he refused to do so and she ended up jumping out while the vehicle was still (slowly) moving.

Post Miranda the Def stated that he did not grab the Vic and put her in the car. The Def stated that she got in the car on her own and he never physically touched her. The Def said he was just trying to get home and she had the phone with the GPS on it so he needed her to come with him.

The Vic and Def have been in a relationship for approx 5 years and have been married for 9 months.”

Indie wrestler Joey Ryan took to his Twitter account and sent out a series of tweets explaining why he he has no desire to join WWE. Ryan indicated that low wages and injuries are two of the factors in his decision not to sign with the company.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that an individual wearing a La Parka mask robbed a Circle K in Florida this week.

The person entered the Circle K on HWY 29 wearing the former WCW Superstar’s mask at 3:30AM Tuesday morning and robbed the place at gunpoint. After the incident, the suspect was seen running north through the parking lot.

Police are asking anyone with information to call the ECSO at (850) 436-9620 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

As previously reported, Bobby Roode stuck around in New York while the rest of the NXT Superstars flew back to Florida to gear up for Thursday’s NXT television tapings. It’s been rumored that Roode will be the next top NXT Superstar to move to the main roster.

To add fuel to the speculation about Roode’s arrival, he was seen by fans arriving to the Barclays Center ahead of tonight’s SmackDown Live event.

Newsweek recently spoke with NXT Women’s Champion Asuka. Here are some highlights from the interview:

Asuka on how she wanted to break records in WWE: “When I decided to sign a contract with WWE, I decided two things. I was determined not only to win, but to leave [breaking] records. That is something I feel like I can do as a return to WWE [for hiring me].”

Thoughts on helping to change the face of women’s wrestling in the promotion: “I wanted to change women’s wrestling in WWE. In wrestling, men and women do the same thing, but sometimes the men look more powerful and more impressive. I am trying my best to fill the gap between men and women.”

Asuka on the adjustment to life in America: “It was my first time living in the U.S., but they were so supportive. The language was a big wall for me…I’m still struggling. Driving is an issue. When I was in Japan, I didn’t have to drive all the time, but here in Florida, you have to drive all the time. But American people are very friendly, cheerful and kind to me. So I’m really thankful to the American people.”
