Chris Jericho Involved In F-Bomb Altercation Outside NYC Show
…
John Cena recently did an “Actually Me” episode for GQ where he went undercover on several internet platforms and replied to his fans. He talked about various topics and when asked why we never see him turn heel, he made the following remarks:
“Oftentimes, I run out onto our well-produced stage to thunderous boos, and my theme song has been remixed by the audience many times. And I quote, “John Cena sucks.” Soooo, I turned heel, you missed it. It happened… just about ten years ago.”
As reported earlier, next week’s SmackDown Live episode will see the Team of New Day going up against The Usos in a rap battle. However, it seems like WWE has decided to bring in a professional rapper in that angle.
Longtime hardcore wrestling fan and successful rapper, Wale took to Twitter to ask his fans to check him out next week on SmackDown Live. Here’s what he said:
Ross congratulates new ROH Champion Cody Rhodes on capturing the Title by defeating Christopher Daniels last weekend. He says that he’s sure his old friend Dusty Rhodes would be so proud of Cody if he was still alive, and Ross couldn’t be prouder of Cody as well for everything that he has accomplished since leaving WWE.
Ross welcomes Jim Cornette to the show.
Ross asks Cornette if he still enjoys doing his podcast and Cornette says that for the most part he does. Some days he has to really grind in order to get through a two hour show if there isn’t a lot to talk about or if he’s just sick of his own voice, but for the most part it’s still very fun for him.
Cornette and Ross talk about the changing landscape of the professional wrestling business. Ross thinks that modern fans simply know too much about the business, and Cornette agrees. Cornette says that fans can’t just sit back and enjoy the product anymore, they need to overanalyze and criticize everything. He says that just because he watches Family Guy doesn’t mean he thinks he can write that show.
While doing promotional work for WWE, Finn Balor trolled the fans in attendance by mentioning Roman Reigns.
When responding to a question by one of the interviewers, Balor stated that fans had plenty of reasons to be excited, he was then quoted as saying:
“Obviously they’ll get to see Seth Rollins, they’ll get to see Bray Wyatt, they’ll get to see Finn Balor, but most importantly they’ll get to see Roman Reigns.”
As soon as Balor mentioned Reigns, a resounding chorus of boos emanated from the fans in attendance followed by “Roman Sucks” chants.
