According to PWInsider, both John “Big” Gaburick and Dutch Mantel are expected to be leaving Impact Wrestling very soon.

The word making the rounds among talents is that Gaburick will officially be leaving at the first of next month. Anthem kept Gaburick on as a consultant and was working at television tapings but he was there more as insurance in case the Jeff Jarrett regime didn’t work out. With Scott D’Amore and Don Callis taking over operations, Gaburick will now be exiting.

In regards to Mantel, one source has stated that he’s already been let go but we are unable to confirm those claims at the time. Regardless, he is expected to leave next year if he hasn’t already.

]]> Alberto El Patron Remains Suspended /alberto-el-patron-remains-suspended/ Thu, 27 Jul 2017 05:38:47 +0000 /alberto-el-patron-remains-suspended/ During today’s Global Force Wrestling conference Call with Dutch Mantell and Bruce Prichard, it was noted that Alberto El Patron’s suspension has not been lifted, despite him being cleared as a suspect in the Orlando airport incident with Paige from earlier this month.

It was noted during the call that the company is conducting their own internal investigation and once they come to a conclusion, a decision will be made.

“We’re doing an internal review of it because it’s something we don’t take lightly,” Mantel said. “When that’s completed, we will release our findings.”
