Tyler Breeze responded to a fan on Twitter who claimed that The Velveteen Dream would be another “Tyler Breeze” if called to the main roster. These remarks didn’t go over very well with Breeze, who defended his position on the SmackDown Live roster.

Another fan decided to call out Breeze for being another talent who just brags about their money.

Yeah we know. We've heard it a million times from others. The talent these days is only concerned with the size of their wallet, and less concerned on the quality of their character. Blah blah blah…

Breeze responded to that fan with the following remarks:

The same fan as mentioned above then pointed out to Breeze how poorly SmackDown’s attendance has been:

Breeze responded back with:

The fan kept giving it to Breeze, calling WWE out for putting on a “sh**ty” product each week:

It appears that WWE is making a major change to the upcoming Takeover main event. While it was revealed that Johnny Gargano would be the next challenger to Almas’ NXT Championship title at this past week’s NXT tapings, that may no longer be the plan.

WWE taped four matches this week — Trent Seven vs. Killian Dain, Kassius Ohno vs. Johnny Gargano, Roderick Strong vs. Lars Sullivan and Adam Cole vs. Aleister Black. The winners of these matches moved on to compete in a Fatal 4 Way with the winner being the new #1 contender for the NXT Title. Gargano ended up winning the 4 Way and should be moving on to challenge Almas… or so we thought.

When William Regal made the announcement in the video above, there was no mention of the Kassius Ohno vs. Johnny Gargano match. Instead Regal announced Velveteen Dream vs. Ohno instead. This means that WWE will have to tape the Velveteen Dream vs. Ohno match and the Fatal 4 Way match to determine a new #1 contender.

As of this writing, there is no indication as to why the company made this change. We will keep you updated if we receive any other details.

While speaking to E! Online, Lana credited Nikki Bella for her help with transitioning from a manager role to an in-ring performer on WWE television. It was Nikki’s assistance that helped her on not giving up on pursing her dream to compete in the ring.

“Nikki has helped me so, so, so much,” Lana said. “There have been times in my wrestling journey—and you’re going to see this on the show—when I’ve gotten discouraged because the success doesn’t come overnight. It’s a lot of getting in there and failing. She was really the person that kept on encouraging me not to give up, to be resilient, to be brave and to have courage. At times, I would think maybe I shouldn’t continue to pursue my dream of competing in that ring, but she kept on telling me not to give up and keep on training. I wouldn’t be where I am now if it wasn’t for Nikki Bella.”

WWE has released NXT Superstar HoHo Lun, according to an exclusive report by WrestlingInc.

Lun was part of the WWE Cruiserweight Classic and defeated Ariya Daivari in the first round of the tournament but we eliminated in the second round. Since then he has worked a few NXT television tapings, most recently losing to The Velveteen Dream. WWE also used him for NXT Live Events.

As previously noted, WWE is making budget cuts in order to increase their bottom line profit margin. It was rumored that the company may be making a few roster cuts.
