EC3 Spotted at the WWE Performance Center

It was rumored this past weekend that EC3 could be headed to WWE now that he’s no longer obligated to Impact Wrestling. Dave Meltzer confirmed these rumors in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter and he is in fact headed to WWE.

In an update, EC3 was actually spotted at the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday. This is a strong indication that he will be arriving in the company very soon. It remains to be seen if he will head to NXT or make a debut on the main roster. We will keep you updated if we receive more details on his WWE return.

Backstage Note on Finn Balor’s Loss to Kane on Monday’s RAW

As previously reported, Dave Meltzer mentioned in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Finn Balor’s rumored match against Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title may not take place at next year’s Royal Rumble event.

Meltzer said that Balor’s loss to Kane this past week on RAW could be an indication that the match is off because the company was supposed to be building Balor up for the Championship title match against Brock.

When asked about the situation, Dave Meltzer responded, “I’ve asked around and like, I mean, people who always defend Vince [McMahon] have been, like, there’s no explanation. There’s no defense. He just whiffed.“

Baron Corbin the New Favorite to Win Money in the Bank

While appearing on Sunday’s installment of Live Audio Wrestling, Dave Meltzer discussed the upcoming Money in the Bank Ladder match that will see Baron Corbin, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, Shinsuke Nakamura, and AJ Styles competing for the Money in the Bank briefcase.

Dave Meltzer indicated that Baron Corbin is the favorite to win the match as the company is really high on him at the moment. “Yeah, I think there’s a pretty good chance [of Baron Corbin winning],” said Meltzer.

He continued, “He’s the guy that [WWE] is talking about elevating because… I don’t know. I don’t see him against Jinder. A lot of the times, the Money in the Bank winner is someone that you don’t really think of as at that level, and usually they end up winning the championship. Sometimes it works, like with Edge, and sometimes it doesn’t.”

It was reported last week that Nakamura was the early favorite to win the bout. As we get closer to the event, things will likely change as they always do within WWE.

Brock lesnar VS Kevin Owens possible match for WrestleMania 32

In there last week edition MLW Radio Former WWE writer Court Bauer said that WWE Officials are considering Kevin Owens vs Brock Lesnar at the WrestleMania 32 pay-per-view next year.

No word yet on how they plan on getting to Lesnar vs. Owens but Owens likely would not still hold the WWE Intercontinental Title.

For what it’s worth, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the report may be true but as of today, Lesnar hasn’t heard anything about it. That does not mean the match isn’t happening.

TNA star Gunner involved in an altercation with a fan at Indie Event

Former TNA star Gunner was reportedly involved in an incident with a fan at a PWX event on September 6th in North Carolina. The Wrestling Observer reported that a Indie fan named Adrian Rohr, who is a regular at many wrestling events, had written negative comments about Gunner on social media and Gunner was not particularly happy about that. Fans were chanting “Dixie’s reject” at Gunner, which might have led to him kicking Rohr in the chest and that too in front of his young son. It is to be noted that PWX promotion has no barriers at ringside.
While many wrestlers took Gunner’s side it is reported by The Observer that the assault was largely unprovoked as Rohr is known as a respectful fan.
Gunner also wrote the following online after the match but was deleted thereafter:
“And for the record, don’t be an idiot fan and step up to my ring. You will get kicked.”

But now it is being Reported that a producer has told The Observer That Liev Will not be playing Chris Benoit on Screen But The Movie is going on Ahead. As we reported earlier that This movie is based on Matt Randazzo’s “Ring of Hell” book and Matt is supposedly one of the producer of the Film.

Former TNA Star Jesse Neal has announced his retirement on In Your Face Wrestling Show on 29 August. He’s married to a Indie star Brittany Savage, Jesse started to cut back at his indie bookings when his daughter was born last year.

Fox have reportedly started working on a Pro Wrestling drama series, the Project seems to under development on Script revisions right now.

Aj Styles Interested in Working with WWE, Comments on his Retirement

AJ Styles is No Doubt one of the most Greatest Performer in The ring. The former IWGP and TNA Champion AJ Styles has become One Of the Most Wanted Wrestlerafter his NJPW Run. In a very Intersting Interview With Wrestling Observer Radio he said that His run with NJPW is really Fun and he Injoys the Time there but If a Offer were to be Made from WWE he would have to Listen, And Coudn’t refuge.
He also mentioned that he is planoing to Retire when he’s 42 and that gives him 5 more Years in the Business.

“At 42, that’ll be 20 years for me. I think that’s a good stopping point, if I make it. You never know what will happen next. Blowing out my knee at this point in my career could be career-ending. I was planning on retiring early, but apparently IUDs don’t work for my wife,” AJ joked.

In 2013 it was announced that a movie will be made Called Crossface and Actor Liev Schreiber Would play the role of Chris Benoit. In Wrestling Observer Newsletter this week it was reported that Liev has been finalised for the movie but there is still any confermation to come. SRG Film,s will be producing the film and it will be based on the Matt Randazzo’s “Ring of Hell” book.
