Batista’s Latest Flick

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson isn’t the only former WWE Champion appearing in many 2017 films; there is another Dave Batista-starring film this October. A preview for “Blade Runner 2019” was released, the sequel to the 1982 “Blade Runner” film that starred Harrison Ford. In the new film, Ford returns with Ryan Gosling and Batista. The film premieres Friday, October 6.

Guitar Shot Slices Finn Bálor

It was the guitar shot heard all across Nasville, and at homes watching Monday Night RAW last night. Elias Samson nailed Finn Bálor with a guitar shot last night, which legitimately led to the inaugural Universal Champion getting sliced open. Late Monday night, Bálor posted a photo showing a visible wound. He and Samson will have another one-on-one match next Monday, but it will be a No-Disqualification Match.

NXT Heads North

NXT heads back north this September. Triple H confirmed an NXT road trip for Rochester, N.Y. (September 7) and St. Catharine’s (September 8) and Toronto, Ontario, Canada (September 9). Tickets for the three shows go on sale this Friday, July 21, at 10 a.m. EDT. The WWE has so far announced NXT Champion Bobby Roode, NXT Women’s Champion Asuka, and Drew McIntyre for the tour. As is the standard, the card is subject to change.
