While appearing on Good Morning Britain, Triple H discussed rumors of Conor McGregor and Ronda Rousey possibly having a match in WWE. Triple H teased the idea that both of them could work with the company at some point.

When asked about Conor McGregor, Triple H responded, “Well Conor McGregor has said a lot of things about WWE in the past. I don’t have a problem with it because he said I was a (???), which is great. But he said a lot of stuff about our talent in the past. Conor McGregor comes in, it’s not going to be an easy go.”

When Ronda Rousey’s name was brought up, Triple H responded, “She is very interested and our business has always been huge fan and that’s where the “Rowdy Ronda” came from. I think she’s interested in the opportunity. I’m interested in offering her the opportunity. We have some talking to do.”

While speaking to Sports Illustrated, The Young Bucks talked about wanting to include Hulk Hogan into The Bullet Club’s entrance at next year’s Wrestle Kingdom event. However, Marty Scurll indicated that he would much rather have “Stone Cold” Steve Austin included in the entrance instead.

“I actually have a different wrestling legend in mind for my Wrestle Kingdom entrance,” said Scurll. “One that I have met on a podcast. One who likes to drink a little beer, raise a little hell. Put up the middle finger. But I don’t want to ruin any surprises. My lips are sealed.”

Scurll also mentioned that he’s going to headline ROH’s Final Battle show in December and, even discussed the idea of facing Conor McGregor.

“More important than headlining the show is shocking the world,” said Scurll. “Giving the people something they would never forget. There’s always talk about Conor McGregor getting involved in wrestling, so why not ROH? Put him in the ring against ‘The Villain’ at Final Battle. Maybe have my pal ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin in my corner. These are the kind of things I want to do for this business. The possibilities for the future captivate me. There’s so much good stuff to come.”

While appearing on on FOX News, Dana White was asked about the rumors of Conor McGregor being in talks with WWE.

White responded, “It’s not true. It’s absolutely not true.” White said that he texted the article to Vince McMahon. Vince’s response was, “It’s news to me! It may be a good idea someday but not now.”

Conor McGregor Negotiating With WWE For WrestleMania Appearance?

According to a recent report, Conor McGregor and WWE are in negotiations for the UFC star to have a one-off appearance at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans next year. According to a source close to the situation:

“Conor is a huge wrestling fan. His entire persona on stage he has developed from watching performers like Ric Flair and The Rock. These are the top dogs at self-promotion and trash talk. He watched these guys when he was younger. This is something he’s always wanted to do. The WWE guys have asked him to do shows before with them but the timing was never really right. But this time it looks like a deal is going to be locked into place.”

As we’ve reported in the past, Triple H has always been open to McGregor working with WWE, and I guess time will tell if the two sides can come to a deal this time around.

Info On Tonight’s WWE RAW

The only thing certain these days about WWE is that they will be as random as humanly possible when it comes to making matches for their weekly shows. It was announced a few moments ago that John Cena will face off with Braun Strowman tonight, and Roman Reigns will square off with Jason Jordan.

I am kind of wondering what the point is. So far, this story line with Jordan has devolved to the point where he can’t win a match, and Braun destroys everything that moves. I can’t see the Cena/Strowman match having a clean finish, and both men need to be protected somewhat before No Mercy in two weeks. Plus, this match is a PPV-worthy main event. I can’t quite figure out why WWE is just giving it away with zero build on a random episode of RAW.

And, Enzo Amore will be a guest on MizTV tonight. Why do I feel that this will lead to Enzo being laid out by multiple people or smacked with a microphone?

Chris Jericho On Conor McGregor In WWE

Chris Jericho seems to have his doubts about Conor McGregor coming to WWE. TMZ caught up with him earlier today, and he seemed to feel like McGregor would need a whole lot of dough to leave the lucrative UFC career he has now.

“It’s an easy thing to imagine, I would say. I don’t think he’s gonna join in two years, not now with all the money he made. But it could happen at some point. He’s got the personality for it, that’s for sure. It depends on how much money he can generate, which I think would be a lot. He just made $100 million, so he’s not coming in for peanuts, right?”

As previously reported, Enzo Amore revealed on Instagram that he spent $10,000 on a ticket to Saturday’s Boxing match between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor.

Love it or hate it, Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather is one of the most hotly anticipated sporting events of the year. Will it be a real fight, or is it all just an over-hyped stunt? In their latest Pop Question video, WWE posed the all-important question to their wrestlers: Who will win tonight’s junior middleweight match?

The official Top Rope Press tally shows the WWE locker room is backing Floyd “Money” Mayweather by a wide margin: six votes to three for McGregor (four for McGregor if you count Mike Kanellis swapping his vote at the last minute). Newly-minted Cruiserweight Enzo Amore picked up a surprise vote from newly-minted cruiserweight Enzo Amore, while everybody’s favorite Bulgarian Brute has the hottest take of the video: “Don’t care. They make a lot of money. They both winners.”

Can’t argue with that. According to ESPN, both men are set to make several million dollars for tonight’s match-up.

Rusev Expected To Return On SmackDown Live This Week

This week’s WWE SmackDown Live is shaping up to be a big show. Not only will it feature the return of Daniel Bryan, the possible TV debut of Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis, but it looks like Rusev will be making his return this week as well.

Rusev was recently cleared from his shoulder injury which he underwent surgery for in March. His wife Lana, now receiving her own single’s push, will be wrestling Naomi for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship on Sunday at Money In The Bank. It will be interesting to see how WWE works the dynamic of the pair once Rusev returns.

Enzo Amore Takes Shot At Conor McGregor

In case you haven’t been following the sports world, it was recently confirmed that undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be taking on MMA star and UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor in a boxing match on August 26. The fight has been getting a ton of publicity. WWE stars are already starting to weigh in, with Enzo Amore taking a shot at Conor on Twitter.

McGregor received lots of heat last year when he took some shots at WWE wrestlers, including John Cena. Always the entertainer, McGregor is a noted wrestling fan and was likely just trying to draw media attention. He even spoke late last year about possibly working for WWE in the future.
