“Playboy, Leaked Photos, and Being Sexy”

I have never thought about not being me. I have never been afraid to show off my body. I have never been scared of being sexy. And I don’t want my son or daughter to be afraid of their body. I want my children to be confident. In a world so full of hate and unknown, Mike and I do not want our children to feel like love is a foreign concept. I have been asked on numerous occasions about Playboy, my leaked photos, and about being sexy. My answers may surprise you and hopefully give you some insight into what it means to me to be able to be sexy and still be a great mother.

What will you tell your child about being in Playboy? I will tell them that mommy bought a house by capitalizing on a huge opportunity. I will tell them that mommy believes that the human body should be celebrated not shammed. I will tell them that Playboy is an iconic magazine and the decision to pose was something I discussed with my family and friends before making a well informed choice. I don’t believe sex is the enemy I think ignorance is. If my children, are well informed about the meaning and value of a person’s virtue, I think that is the best a parent can do.

Leaked Photos…. So, I guess I probably should make a statement about this at some point. Haha… I guess first you should know, every photo that I have seen leaked was something for my husband of over three years, who I have been with for 6 and a half. They were sent to or taken by Mike. So, you aren’t seeing anything salacious or forbidden. You are seeing our personal photos. It doesn’t bother me that I’m naked. I have been naked. Boobs, butt, etc… everyone has them. If my children asks about those photos, I will say mommy and daddy have a healthy relationship. We love each other. Daddy thinks Mommy is sexy. AND, there is nothing wrong with that. The problem is the intrusion of privacy. The sad, sad humans that can not make a happy, healthy life of their own. I would tell my child to feel sorry for the people that do not have enough love of their own and have to steal it from others. Mommy and daddy, pity the people that have enough time on their hands to fish through our photos but no time to make a life of their own. To those people, I say get some help, try online dating, and stop breaking the law.

I’m too sexy for small mindedness. Sex. Woah. How could you? NO, I can and I will never be afraid of it. Being sexy doesn’t end for pregnant people, married people, curvy people, skinny people, any people… Sex is beautiful. It creates life and draws humans together. War, is ever present on TV, in movies, and on video games and no one blinks an eye but you see a little boob and OMG!! Mark 10:6-9 “But from the beginning of creation, ‘God made them male and female.’ ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.’ So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” One flesh sounds fun. If God wanted me to wear clothes, I would have been born with them. I wasn’t, so I’ll continue being sexy and enjoying my body. The body that was created by this universe.

Let’s talk about the things I am afraid of talking about with my child, war, sexual harassment, economic inequality, sexism, racism, homophobia, genocide, and the current political climate. There are much bigger problems in this world then, my sexuality. I have built my life around being a good person and being a good role model for my little sister when she was still little and now my nieces and nephew and soon for my child. In this country, we should focus less on the way people love and more on the way people hate. That is what I will teach my child. Hold hands not hate. Be the change you want to see in this world. Love Yourself. #PowerofLove

Indie promotion Blitzkrieg! Pro issued the following statement regarding Friday’s incident with Justin Credible appearing at the their event drunk.

“In regards to last nights unfortunate incident with Justin Credible. We believe in giving second chances, and judging by the things being said very recently on his twitter it seemed like Credible had turned things around. He had tweeted that he was even looking to have a come back in 2018. So, when our friends with Captains Corner & Connor Promotions asked us if they could bring Justin Credible to our Roots Radical event, we told them absolutely. He was to sign autographs from 6:30-8:30. When Credible arrived, he was very clearly under the influence. He was unable to walk straight, was slurring his words, and smelled of alcohol. He came to the back multiple times asking if he could cut a promo as well as asking for a “special blade” to cut himself while he did said promo. Meanwhile, the venue was voicing their displeasure as his wife was smoking in the bathroom after being asked not to. We immediately spoke to said sponsors. Us and the sponsors agreed that they would be on their way once the show got under way.

However, those who have dealt with intoxicated people know that it can be quite difficult. The show got underway and The Closers, Massage NV, and The Breakfast Club had a great match. Post match, there was a promo scheduled with our commissioner & said 3 teams. This is when Credible took it upon himself to get in the ring. You’ve likely seen the video of what happens next. We’ve seen and heard the tales of what happens when you allow intoxicated wrestlers in the ring. We knew that we couldn’t let that happen, and we knew that we had to police our own show. We thought he would be gone by then, so this was a huge surprise and didn’t have a plan. Very tough situation for everybody. Could some things been handled better in retrospect? Absolutely. Was the hashtag stuff said on the microphone necessary? No. We can assure you though that our announcer was just trying to get things back on track. We try to make sure our shows are a fun and safe environment for all of our fans, staff, and performers. This was very unfair to our fans that came to see him as well as the parents that brought their children. We cannot apologize enough. We very sincerely wish Justin Credible well, and hope he’s able to find the help that he needs. It was heartbreaking to see somebody you once idolized in that state. In an attempt to turn a negative into a positive, we are looking into local non-profit organizations that deal with substance abuse, and when we return to Enfield, CT on February 24th, we will be attempting to raise money for whichever organization pans out. If you or somebody you know needs help with substance abuse, we beg you, reach out to your local organizations. We’ve all seen first hand how scary, frustrating, and heartbreaking this can be. Maria Kanellis went on a long Facebook rant after she got offended when an individual on social media questioned her decision to get pregnant and mentioned that she won’t allow people to make her feel powerless. Here is what she wrote:

“How dare you get pregnant? You can’t workout. And other stupid things people have said to me.”
I think it’s funny that everyone is an expert on pregnancy, including men that can’t birth them and don’t have children of their own. Now, I am not an expert on pregnancy but I do have my OB, PCP, mom, my friends with kids, and my trainer on speed dial. Let’s just analysis the first statement/question: “How dare you get pregnant?” I’m not exactly sure what this means but I can only assume it’s because I work for WWE. I signed a contract with WWE in March and had no plans of getting pregnant until my contract was up. So, yes I have only been signed for a few months this time but, I worked for WWE before. For 5 and a half years. I’ve also been working in wrestling for 13 years. AND I’ve been working since I was 12. I was a bus girl for my first job. Thus, I have been working for 23 years. I CAN get pregnant. I can even stay home while pregnant and have a job because WWE thinks I am important and this baby is important enough to do so. After 23 years of work, do I deserve maternity leave? I think so and so does WWE. Women deserve maternity leave and men deserve paternity leave. It should be a right not a privilege. I will continue fulfilling the obligations of my WWE contract even after the baby arrives so, SMGMB. (Suck My Giant Momma Boobs) Hahaha……

You can’t workout….. Really? Has anyone seen a lioness while pregnant? What if she decides, oh I can’t run today, I’m pregnant? The lioness starves and so does her cubs. Or what happened in colonial times when the men went off to war? Did the farm get neglected? No, she plowed the field and took care of her 7 other children. Women are amazing. Women’s bodies are amazing. I will not let people on social media make me feel powerless. Should some women not workout? Of course. But, I don’t have any special circumstances. And if I did then, I would “settle down” as one hater put it. There are real problems with gaining too much weight while pregnant for instance childhood obesity, gestational diabetes, less accurate sonogram results, premature labor, preeclampsia, high blood pressure, excess bleeding, larger percentage of c-sections, and the list goes on. If you are really concerned about it read up here or here. And if you still have questions go here, here, or here. Links are below to research. I will not stop working out because some ill informed person tells me too. Some women don’t workout while pregnant and that’s their choice. It’s an individual choice a woman makes with her doctor.

On to more stupid things….. “You are annoying. No one wants to hear about your pregnancy.” Let me solve this, real quick. I am pregnant. For the foreseeable future, that is the next 19 weeks, I will talk about being pregnant. You will see pregnant belly photos, baby stuff, blogs about being pregnant, and when I am feeling ultra emotional, photos of Mike with my pregnant belly. Therefore, if you don’t like it, Stop Following Me. Done. Another of my favorite comments, “You look really pregnant.” What the hell does that mean? You are either pregnant or you are not. I am pregnant so of course I really look pregnant. Also, as a warning, in a few months, if you say that to me, I may eat you. I am hungry all the time. Because, I will be really pregnant. AND my all time favorite stupid comment, word for word “Kid won’t have room to move. Prob get caught up in tubing. U ever heard of relaxing” My response was, you don’t understand the female anatomy. I’ll just leave that there.
Mike and I will be revealing baby’s gender in January and as a Christmas Gift to our amazing fans we will be telling you baby’s initials on Christmas Day!!!

Channel Guide Magazine recently interviewed Bayley. Here are some highlights from the interview:

Not wrestling at Summerslam: “Being a part of 2K event is really cool since I wasn’t on SummerSlam, and it sucks that I’m not actually wrestling. However, I still get to feel a part of something so huge as this. Visiting the children hospitals is one of the most rewarding things for us. So even if I were to do one of those every day, I feel it would be a successful week.”

Having action figures: “The fact I have multiple action figures is crazy. You see them come with the headband, tassels and inflatable men. They really put a lot of time into those.”

The Mae Young Classic: “It was incredible. I stayed both nights and sat in the crowd the whole time. I didn’t want to sit in the back and watch on the monitor. I sat out there because there are so many of my friends who are on it. All of those girls deserve to be in that tournament. I think the fans don’t even know what to expect. They are not going to know what hit them. Once they watch, it won’t take long for them to see how good it is. Words can’t really describe it.”

Where she pulls her motivation: “I will watch what made me fall in love with it in the first place. It keeps me going. I kind of started doing CrossFit, so now I’m training with these CrossFit people. They motivate me to make a better lifestyle for myself. It’s a very healthy lifestyle. So that is where I have been pulling motivation from these days, especially being injured.”

Her shoulder injury: “It’s a separated shoulder. I’m getting checked out in a month again, so we will see where I am after that. Then I will have a better timeframe.”
