Afterwards, The Boss slides in the ring to embrace Bayley as she celebrates with the title and Charlotte weeps bitter tears outside against the barricade. Bayley takes a victory lap slapping hands and celebrating with fans.
Now this possibly means that WWE have the same monotonous thought when it comes to RAW Womens division. Another switch is expected to come at Fastlane as Charlotte is certain to win back the Gold. This will make her a 5 time womens champion.

This could have come as a counter to Smackdown women’s division as Naomi won the gold from Alexa Bliss this past Sunday at the Elimination Chamber.

But what RAW creatives fail to realize is that Smackdown has a better storyline & strategy when it come to its division whether they have nothing in that standard and are just in a loop to switch titles every now & then.
Also the debut of Emmalina is now being long awaited & it seems like RAW creatives have nothing in mind for Emma’s return which makes for a big negative on the show. She debuted as Emmalina & told everyone that Emmalina is going to be turned into Emma ! WHAT!????

For this week’s Monday Night RAW in New Orleans, we have the WWE United States Champion ‘The Big Dog’ Roman Reigns defending his title against both ‘Mr Wrestling’ Kevin Owens and ‘The Ayatollah of Rock n’ Rollah’ Chris Jericho in a 2-on-1 handicap match, and we have the scheduled appearances from ‘The Deadman‘ The Undertaker and ‘The Showstopper’ Shawn Michaels.

We witnessed a great 2 hour episode of WWE Smackdown Live: Wild Card Finals last Tuesday in which we witnessed ‘The Lunatic on the loose’ Dean Ambrose winning the prestigious WWE Intercontinental Championship in the main event.

In addition, Asuka recently became the longest-reigning NXT women’s champ at 277 days and counting, as seen on WWE.com. Her techniques include various kicks and submission holds, leading to a reputation for a stiff wrestling style.

On the January 13, 2016, episode of NXT, Asuka competed in a number one contender’s over-the-top-rope battle royal for Bayley’s NXT Women’s Championship, which was won by Carmella. On the February 10 episode, Asuka saved Carmella from Eva Marie and Nia Jax after her loss to NXT Women’s Champion Bayley. Afterwards, Asuka had a staredown with Bayley, indicating that she wanted a shot at her title. After Asuka and Bayley defeated Marie and Jax in a tag team match on the March 16 episode, an NXT Women’s Championship match between the two was made official by William Regal. On April 1 at NXT TakeOver: Dallas, Asuka defeated Bayley by technical submission to win the NXT Women’s Championship for the first time. On June 8 at NXT TakeOver: The End, she successfully defended the title against Nia Jax. After Bayley earned herself a title rematch against Asuka, tensions between the two began to rise, leading to the match on August 20 at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II, where Asuka retained the title. On November 19 at NXT TakeOver: Toronto, Asuka successfully defended the NXT Women’s Championship against Mickie James, refusing to shake James’ hand afterwards.

The stats agree. With three big titles on the line and the return of John Cena WWE Smackdown Live has managed to defeat Monday night RAW in ratings game this week or should we say the first time since the draft happened. Wrestling Observer has reported that “This week’s SmackDown averaged 2.88 million viewers, just barely beating the 2.85 that Monday’s episode of Raw averaged. SD Live came close to this last time in September when John Cena previously returned, the week where Raw was opposite the first presidential debate, and the loaded 900th episode in November coming close to beating the previous Monday’s episode.”

There is a positive for RAW in the coming weeks as the football season is over but if they continue to go over the same lame storylines and monotonous matches focussing their shows only on four guys; Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho, it won’t be inaccurate to say that Monday night RAW will suffer again in terms of ratings. WWE has been trying their best to throw in some big names like Goldberg to attract audience, which sometimes brings them positive ratings but as far as consistency is concerned SD Live has delivered great in and out action all throughout the time since the draft happened. The crowd’s reaction on both the show were totally different this week considering the fact that both RAW and Smackdown Live were conducted in the same arena, the crowd looked lively and thunderous during SD Live and mostly dead on RAW. Also with Smackdown being the show that promotes talents and every title looks legit and well build, the focus on RAW keeps shifting to Roman Reigns which can be considered as one of the many reasons for this shift in ratings. Many sources over the internet pre-claimed that SD will take over RAW in the last episode of 2016 as they had better bookings and storylines to build upon and considered 27 december as a special PPV and not just a weekly episode.

James Ellsworth defeated Curt Hawkins with No Chin Music in under 30 seconds. Damn! A new “jobber”

Dolph Ziggler defeated WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz in a non-title steel cage match.

Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton and Luke Harper defeated Apollo Crews, Jack Swagger and Mojo Rawley.

Nikki Bella defeated Natalya. This was pretty physical for a women’s division match. Carmella tried to interfere at one point.

WWE Champion AJ Styles retained over Dean Ambrose and John Cena in a Triple Threat. All three had loud reactions but it seemed AJ was more over than Cena and John Cena had more boos. Cena and Styles had a tug-of-war for the title after the match, which ended with Cena hitting an Attitude Adjustment and posing in the corner to end the show.
