Enzo Amore, who was pulled from his Cruiserweight Championship match against Cedric Alexander this past week on RAW, returned to action at Friday’s WWE Live Event in Evansville, Indiana.

PWInsider reports that Enzo Amore was sick earlier today and had to be hospitalized.

As of this writing, it’s unknown if his match against Cedric Alexander that is scheduled for tonight’s RAW will take place. We will keep you updated if we hear anything before the show.

Drew Gulak defeated Tony Nese, Cedric Alexander, Ariya Daivari in a Fatal 4 Way match on tonight’s episode of RAW to advance to a match against Rich Swann on next week’s show. The winner of that bout will move on to face Enzo Amore for a shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

No other matches or segments have been announced for next week’s show, but we will keep you updated if anything else is announced.

Welcome to the fastest hour on television, 205 Live!

And just like that, the Enzo Amore era of 205 Live is over. At least, for now it is. On last night’s Raw, Kalisto defeated Enzo Amore in a Lumberjack Match to end the fairly short-lived reign of Enzo, much to the delight of all of the cruiserweights. We definitely haven’t seen the last of Amore, as he probably will seek his rematch clause, either tonight, or at TLC in a few weeks. Let us know if you’re excited for the rematch, or just want to move on from Zo!

Elsewhere on tonight’s 205 Live, the drama between Cedric Alexander and Jack Gallagher is set to continue, while we will also see our 1000th televised match-up between TJP and Rich Swann. There’s more to be excited for with tonight’s show, hopefully Neville gets a new storyline and direction ahead of TLC.

Two nights ago and WWE No Mercy, Enzo Amore defeated Neville to become the Cruiserweight Champion. There’s a sentence I never wanted to write. Yes, Enzo defeated Neville, albeit via a low blow, and he is the new King of the Cruiserweights.

Last night on Raw, Enzo Amore demanded a celebration of his big win, in which he wanted to retire his jersey. Then all of the cruiserweights came onto the stage and one-by-one Enzo insulted each of them, in very heel-like fashion. The former Champion, Neville, then came out and told Enzo some harsh truths: that nobody liked him, that he can’t wrestle, that the division regrets giving him a chance, and that he, on behalf of the division, will end him. Neville proceeded to come down to the ring and destroy Enzo – apparently eliminating himself from a title rematch. After Raw went off the air, Braun Strowman came down and further demolished Enzo by landing a running powerslam, and is if that wasn’t enough, the rest of the cruiserweights came down and beat on Enzo, hitting their finishers in the process. It was a really great segment if you really dislike Enzo Amore.

So, tonight, the Champion will get a chance to respond to the entire division and we should find out if Enzo is now a full heel. Also, who is the number one contender now that Neville is out of the running? Cedric Alexander? Rich Swann? Hopefully we get an idea tonight. WWN Live announced that Cedric Alexander will be replacing Davey Richards at weekend EVOLVE events near Detroit and Chicago.

Alexander is scheduled to face EVOLVE Champion Zack Sabre Jr. in a non-title match at EVOLVE 92 on Friday in Livonia, Michigan. He will then face Fred Yehi at the following night in Summit, Illinois. Both matches will be for the live crowd only.

As seen on Tuesday’s episode of 205 Live, Noam Dar returned to action with a win over enhancement talent Mark Thomas. Thomas was played James Steele (James Liberty). This was his first appearance since losing to Cedric Alexander back on July 11.

PWInsider reports that there is talk backstage at RAW that Cedric Alexander will take on Noam Dar in an “I Quit” match on tomorrow’s episode of 205 Live.

This match is slated to be their blow off to end their feud, which has centered around Alicia Fox.
