WWE may be planning to have a Final Deletion match sometime in the future.

While speaking to IGN about the possibilities of the match taking place against Bray Wyatt, Matt Hardy responded, “100%. Absolutely.”

Matt didn’t elaborate exactly when and where the match will happen, but given that he’s currently involved in a feud with Bray, it could be happening sooner rather than later.

The first Final Deletion was aired on TNA programming on December 15h, 2016 and featured The Broken Hardys vs. Abyss & Crazzy. The match was taped at The Hardy Compound in Cameron, North Carolina and is arguably one of the best segments in Impact Wrestling’s history.

Señor Benjamin has made a brief appearance in a new video teasing Matt Hardy’s “WOKEN” character. You can check out the video below, which the caption reads: “It has begun. The #7Deities have WOKEN my #BROKENBrilliance on the plane identified as WWE. Senor Benjamin, PROCURE my Coat of Battle. The #GreatWar has begun.”

As previously reported, WWE has plans to bring the “BROKEN” character back but under the “WOKEN” name. Hardy has been teasing the return all week on social media and on RAW this past week.

It was reported earlier today that Impact Wrestling will not be pursuing ownership of the “BROKEN” gimmick and Matt Hardy will be able to obtain the trademark and use it wherever he wants.

According to Nick Hausman of Eric Bischoff’s podcast, Impat made the decision to break off the pursuit of the gimmick because they left it was a “negative financial and contractual issues” that Anthem Media was at fault for.

Hardy claimed that when Impact sought to gain control of the gimmick that he was legally free to use it due to the contracts not correctly stipulating Impact’s ownership. Anthem & Hardy publicly battled out the dispute on Twitter for several months and it appears that Impact is finally putting the issue behind them.

He has garnered praise for his two recent matches against Okada, but he has been delivering terrific matches for a long period of time now. Ross says that Omega’s match with Iishi which will air this upcoming weekend on AXSTV is an all-time classic as well, and he urges Austin and all of his listeners to check that out.

Lane informs that IMPACT Wrestling and Ed Nordholm are discussing bringing Billy Corgan back into the fold, to help mediate the discussions between the promotion and Matt Hardy. The thought is that Corgan can be of some value when it comes to bridging the gap between all the parties concerning the Broken Universe.

Russo says that Nordholm has far too many distractions right now, and his recent memo to wrestling media is a prime example of this. In this memo, Nordholm made public various private conversations between himself and Matt Hardy in an attempt to prove that he has been telling the truth.
