Lucha Underground talent Brian Cage is backstage at tonight’s Impact Wrestling tapings in Orlando, Florida at Universal Studios.

Cage has been rumored to work for the company for several months now and he was recently asking fans if they would be interested in seeing him work for Impact.

During Tuesday’s 205 Live episode, a fan decided to blast Kalisto directly in the face with a bottle of water.

Kaliso was down on the outside of the ring after his he and Gran Metalik defeated Brian Kendrick and Jack Gallagher by disqualification when the bottle hit him. You can check out footage from the incident below:

Maybe the guy with the sign, “Kalisto killed Harambe” did it??? Just a thought… Either way, you can see a referee and staff running over to that side of the ring after the incident. The person behind it probably got tossed out of the building or arrested. We will keep you updated.

Ring Rust Radio recently interviewed Jack Gallagher. Here are the highlights:

Gallagher on Vince McMahon being approachable: “The relationship with Vince McMahon, he is surprisingly approachable. Growing up watching WWE or WWF as I did growing up, you think of Vince McMahon as this larger-than-life scary character. He is a larger-than-life character, but he is very welcoming, charming, he sits down and if he has time in his busy schedule, which is rare, but if he has time in his schedule, he has time for anyone.”

Thoughts on elevating the cruiserweight division: “For me, it’s not escaping the division, it’s about elevating it. NXT went from a developmental system which was considered a step-down, to a completely separate brand unto itself where people are stars and they sell out stadiums and they tour by themselves,” Gallagher said. “In my head I think, if we all work hard, then 205 Live becomes good, the division becomes good, the division raises, and then there are more opportunities and then there are more interesting things for everyone as well.”

Working with Brian Kendrick: “It’s been really wonderful for me because I get to pick his brain, and he obviously has the experience on me. It occurred to me that when Brian first started in WWE, his mentor was William Regal, and he sort of has a reverse situation now where he’s mentoring a new little William Regal in WWE. I enjoy the sort of mirrored aspect of that.”

Earl Hebner is done with Impact Wrestling, according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.

Hebner left the company this week for the same reason that referees Robert King, Brian Stiffler and Hebner’s son Brian did. Apparently the company informed that the company would be using local referees while in Canada moving forward.

Hebner joins Rockett, Brian Stifler, Brian Hebner, Robert Moore, Rockstar Spud, Reno SCUM, Eddie Kingston and Taryn Terrell as the most recent departures.

Representatives within WWE are claiming that The UK Sun’s report about Conor McGregor possibly having a match at next year’s WrestleMania event is “completely” inaccurate.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter they have been told that there haven’t been any talks between WWE and McGregor. The belief is that with Ronda Rousey expected to be part of the event next year, it’s very unlikely that WWE would spend the extra money to bring in McGregor as well.

Speaking of Ronda, she continues to train with Brian Kendrick in California for a WWE match.

Welcome to the fastest hour on television, 205 Live!

Well the cruiserweight division has had quite the shake-up as of late hasn’t it? Whether you like Enzo Amore or not, he’s definitely had the desired effect on the division; he’s shook things up and gotten people to care. Two weeks in a row now, Enzo and his peers have main evented Raw, before him that was unheard of. That’s not to say Enzo is the best worker in the division, in fact he’s probably the worst, but he has put the division on the map.

So last night, Enzo once again ran down every other member of the division and they could do nothing about it because they would be fired if they laid a finger on the realest guy in the room. That stipulation did not apply to 205 Live’s latest acquisition however: Kalisto. Sure, the big reveal was a let-down when we realised it was Kalisto, I myself was hoping for Hideo Itami, but Kalisto is perfect for 205 Live and adds a little bit more name power. Kalisto is now in a feud with Enzo over the title, which is sure to take a new twist or turn on tonight’s show.

Elsewhere on tonight’s show, Cedric Alexander will clash with the newly heel Jack Gallagher. These two have been butting heads for a few weeks now, largely because of the man with a plan, Brian Kendrick. This should be an interesting match but probably only the beginning. While speaking to Brian Fritz of Between the Ropes, Braun Strowman mentioned that he spends around $150 a week at Chipolte and revealed exactly what he orders when he goes.

“It’s my guilty pleasure, even though I’m trying to get Chipotle to sponsor me, because I spend $150 a week in there,” Strowman revealed. “It’s $25 dollars for every bowl. It’s three scoops of steak, two scoops of chicken, double guacamole, cheese, sour cream, and corn.”
