PWInsider reports that former WWE Superstar Santino Marella (Anthony Carelli) is backstage at tonight’s Bound for Glory pay-per-view. As of this writing, it’s unknown if he will be appearing on camera.

Additionally, we can now confirm that Jimmy Jacobs is backstage at the event. Our earlier report only mentioned that he was rumored.

Another source also confirmed to PWInsider that they saw Tessa Blanchard backstage as well.

It was reported over the course of the week that all the referees from Impact Wrestling opted out of their contracts with the company.

According to PWInsider, the reason they wanted out is because Anthem offered them much lower paydays than what they normally would receive. This move caused a “domino effect” when The Hebners requested their release instead.

In regards to their replacements on tonight’s Bound for Glory event and television tapings, it’s being rumored that they reached out to Jack Doan a to work the event. We are unable to confirm if he has agreed to work the shows. It’s expected all the refs will be locals.

Impact Wrestling announced on twitter that Rosemary vs. Taya Valkyrie “Red Wedding” will not take place at Sunday’s Bound for Glory event. They said that Valkyrie will be unable to make the show and the TV tapings next week.

Due to circumstances beyond our control @TheTayaValkyrie will not be at #BFG2017 or the tapings. We look forward to seeing Taya in 2018.

It was announced during Thursday’s Impact Wrestling episode that Taryn Terrell has been pulled from the Knockouts title match at the upcoming Bound for Glory pay-per-view event.

Taryn revealed that she’s not able to be cleared by doctors after the slap she receivedfrom Gail Kim, where she is rumored to have suffered a concussion.

Jim Cornette is already done with Impact Wrestling, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

It’s being said that there is no heat between Anthem and Cornette. Cornette agreed to work one set of television tapings but Jeff Jarrett had asked him to work another set and the upcoming Bound for Glory event. Cornette is unable to travel to Canada and won’t be used at the upcoming Bound for Glory show.

The creative team is now being ran by Scott D’Amore and Sonjay Dutt now that Jarrett is no longer around. They are planning on focusing more on the in-ring action and less on authority figure angles, which is what Cornette was brought in for.

Cornette has agreed to go to Nashville and tape whatever storyline they needed for his exit. Nothing right now is set in that regard.

During today’s Global Force Wrestling Media call, John Gaburick commented on Alberto El Patron’s status with the company.

“We have plans for Alberto, we’re excited that he’s gonna be coming back at Bound For Glory.”

The Bound for Glory event takes place on Sunday, November 5th. As of this writing, there is no opponent for El Patron.

PWInsider reports that Alberto El Patron still has 6-8 months left on his contract with Global Force Wrestling.

While there were plans for Patron to work the November 5th Bound for Glory event, there has also been speculation that he could be done with the company altogether. It will be interesting to see if Patron returns to GFW television at Bound for Glory of the television tapings that take place that same week.

* Sienna comes out. Sienna says she has to be GFW HOF inductee for Bound for Glory. Out comes Gail Kim. Gail wants her rematch at BFG. Taryn comes out. Taryn says Gail has never beat her. Out comes Allie. Allie has been working hard and deserves title shot. Out comes Karen Jarrett. Karen announces Sienna vs. Gail vs. Taryn vs. Allie for Bound for Glory.

* Johnny Impact defeated El Texano.

* Victory Road Tag Team Championship Match: LAX vs. OVE. OVE defeated LAX to win the tag titles.

* JB tells us there is evidence Park has been stealing from Grado. Park out and pushes JB. He is not a thief. Park says no one will disrespect him and this crowd sucks. JB says later tonight, Park will be put on trial.

* Trevor Lee, Konley & Everett vs. Sonjay Dutt, Petey Williams & Matt Sydal. Sydal pins Everett. After the match Sonjay challenges Lee for Bound for Glory. Petey says the shot is his at BFG. Sydal says the shot is his at BFG. Segment ends with faces arguing.

GFW’s next set of tapings will be on August 17th, which will be a Destination X themed episode of Impact Wrestling and will be on a “live” taped delay. Here are a couple of spoiler notes for the show:

• Alberto El Patron will defend his title against either Bobby Lashley, Matt Sydal or both on the show.
• Sonjay Dutt will face Trevor Lee in a Ladder match with the X-Division title that was stolen by Lee.
• They are expected to announce the next Hall of Fame inductee to be honored at Bound for Glory.
• It’s also being said that they will debut new title belts on this show.
