As seen at last night’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III, Adam Cole made his long-awaited debut alongside his fellow ROH buddies, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly. Fish and O’Reilly first beat up the participants of the Tag Team Championship match and returned once again at the main event of the night to beat up the new NXT Champion Drew McIntyre, alongside a debuting Adam Cole.

Cole’s return garnered a lot of reactions from his fellow pro-wrestlers. Finn Balor, Matt Hardy, James Ellsworth and Cole’s best friend, Kevin Owens all took to Twitter to welcome him to the WWE.

After an incredible NXT TakeOver Brooklyn III (and a kind of lackluster main event in comparison), we finally saw Adam Cole make his long-awaited debut in NXT. Earlier this week, the news broke that Cole had officially signed with WWE, and tonight saw him show up after the finish of the Drew McIntyre/Bobby Roode NXT Title match alongside two men that made their presence felt after the NXT Tag Team Title match: reDRagon.

Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly, who had debuted on NXT television earlier this summer, both losing to Aleister Black in their first matches in the brand, beat down both The Authors of Pain and new champions Sanity before coming out with Cole to lay waste to new NXT Champion McIntyre after the end of the main event to close the show.

We had heard rumors swirling throughout the week about a Ring Of Honor-based faction in NXT, but it was one of those laughable rumors. Now, not so much. Throw Roderick Strong into the mix, and that would be a hell of a group to lead NXT into 2018.

Truth be told, this is the shot in the arm NXT needs. They’ve been in sort of a transition period this year, and having the new blood of Cole, Fish, and O’Reilly coming in to take on the new champions should be interesting, to say the least.

It is being reported by PWInsider that numerous talents have been spotted in NYC presumably in attendance for today’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III. Roderick Strong, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly are all in town for the event. Fish was even in attendance for last night’s WWE 2k18 media launch event.

However, the most interesting name of them all is that of Adam Cole. Yes, Cole is indeed in town, presumably for the event. Recently, photos of Cole standing with the NXT roster at an airport surfaced online right after the news of his signing with the WWE broke out.

Furthermore, it was revealed by Triple H on a media conference call that he will not be in attendance at tonight’s event.

WWE may be creating a new stable in NXT that consists of former Ring of Honor talent.

PWInsider reports that WWE creative have discussed the possibilities of putting the new talent that came from ROH into a group together. This move would come after the recent debuts of former ROH talents Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish, who both lost to Aleister Black in their NXT debuts.

Triple H Welcomes Bobby Fish Into The NXT Fold

Although the taping occurred late last month, the WWE NXT broadcast featuring the debut of former Ring of Honor (ROH) star Bobby Fish finally premiered Wednesday night. The July 12th episode saw Aleister Black defeat Fish., but it isn’t a NXT debut without Triple H posting a photo of himself the new WWE/NXT superstar. Following the NXT broadcast, Triple H shared a photo of him and Fish shaking hands in front of the NXT logo.

A video interview with Fish was also published, where the former ROH World Tag Team Champion spoke about his lost to Black and future in NXT.

Fish is still working independent dates, so his actual future in NXT isn’t quite clear. There hasn’t been word that he has actually signed a contract with WWE, so we will have to wait until an official word comes down before knowing if Fish is in NXT to stay.

Next WWE Superstar Actor?

It’s become public that Disney has had troubles finding an actor for the live-version of “Aladdin.” This led to many people on social media to recommend actors that may accurately resemble the Aladdin character, including WWE superstar Mustafa Ali. The WWE cruiserweight welcomed the idea.

Coincidentally, Ali and his wife saw the Aladdin play on Broadway earlier this month.

Gargano Returns At NXT TV Tapings

Johnny Gargano returned to WWE NXT for the first time since NXT TakeOver: Chicago on Friday night during television tapings at Full Sail University.

Gargano has been off television selling his split with DIY partner Tommaso Ciampa. During Friday’s tapings, Gargano cut a promo talking about moving forward with his career. He said he didn’t return to dwell in the past; he returned to get ready to compete at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III. Ciampa is currently out recovering from an injury, so it will be tough to immediately follow-up on their split.

Bobby Fish Makes WWE NXT Debut At Tapings

As expected, former ROH star Bobby Fish made his NXT debut during Friday night’s tapings at Full Sail. It’s expected that his debut will air either on the July 5 or July 12 edition of NXT. He reportedly worked as a heel and wrestled Aleister Black.
