WWE heads to the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina for tonight’s WWE Starrcade event. Here are the results from the show courtesy of Cassidy Haynes of BodySlam.net:

* The arena was asked use to vote for a match at Starrcade and everyone cheered and voted for Sting and Ric Flair however ended up getting Lex Luger and Flair. The match got booed out the building.

* Our correspondent sent word that the place is packed for being a “house show.”

* Starrcade video package opens the show.

* Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler. Roode comes out first, followed by Ziggler. Arn Anderson is the special enforcer for this match. Ziggler takes out AA after trying to take away a chair. Roode gets the victory after a spinbuster and an assist from Arn.

* Breezango, Tye Dillinger, The Ascension, Sin Cara vs. Rusev, Mike Kanellis, The Colons, The Bludgeon Brothers. The Bludgeon brothers get the victory for their team after they perform their finisher on Dillinger. After the match, Kanellis got the finisher as well from the Bludgeon Brothers.

* Naomi vs. Tamina. Lana is out with Tamina. Some fans in one section attempt a CM Punk chant. Naomi gets the victory.

* Tribute to Dusty Rhodes is shown.

As seen on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live, the company announced that the Bludgeon Brothers will debut on next week’s show. WWE posted a fallout video of The Hype Bros calling out the new team, claiming that the more teams that show up means less shots at the Smackdown Tag Team Titles for them.

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were using their new Bludgeon Brothers’ gimmick at the start of the European Tour but it now appears that WWE may have stopped the gimmick already.

During today’s WWE Live Event in Leeds, England, both Harper & Rowman came out using their old music with their old attire. There’s no word exactly why the company has done this, but one could speculate that the gimmick could have been dropped. It is very unusual that they would work all the events up until today using the new Bludgeon Brothers gimmick, only to stop using it.
