WWE announced earlier today that The Dudley Boys would be inducted into the 2018 Hall of Fame class during WrestleMania weekend.

PWInsider reports that the word going around backstage at Sunday’s Royal Rumble event that Mark Henry and Lisa “Ivory” Moretti were also going to be inducted into this year’s class.

Already announced is Bill Goldberg, who will headline the 2018 class. Inductions will be held at the Smoothie King center on Friday, April 6th, 2018.

WWE is expected to make the first WWE Hall of Fame induction announcement soon and could be making it as early as next week.

Tickets for the 2018 Hall of Fame Ceremony at the Smoothie Center in New Orleans will go on sale on Friday, January 19th at 11AM est and they normally make the first announcement around this time to help push ticket sales. Names being rumored for the class include Batista, The Dudleys, Bam Bam Bigelow, Kid Rock, Ivory and Bill Goldberg. Any of those names could be announced.

The ceremony will take place Friday, April 6th at 7:30 PM ET.

Bill Goldberg Asked About Possible WWE Return

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet of WSVN-TV Entertainment, Bill Goldberg was asked about a possible return to WWE and mentioned that as long as he has two arms and two legs he can still do his thing.

“You never know. You really don’t. I ain’t dead yet and I ain’t even close. So as long as I’ve got two arms and two legs and I can still do my thing, never say never.”

Speaking of Goldberg, there is a good chance we may see him on WWE in the near future as he’s rumored to headline next year’s WWE Hall of Fame Class. If the rumors are true, he would be making several appearances on WWE television.

Opening for Monday’s RAW Revealed

WWE announced that the opening for Monday’s RAW in Evansville, IN at the Ford Center will kick off with Roman Reigns making his big SummerSlam announcement.

We noted the other day that many people speculate Reigns would be issuing a challenge to the now “free agent” John Cena. Dave Meltzer shot those reports down. Another rumor making it’s rounds is that Bill Goldberg could be a possible opponent for Reigns at the annual event. We have yet to confirm that those rumors are true. We will keep you updated.

‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar will not be appearing at WWE Fastlane pay-per-view. Although Brock is booked for nearly every episode of WWE RAW going into WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, he will not be present at the pay-per-view event on March 5, 2017 according to latest news and rumors.

This week on Monday Night RAW, Lesnar made an appearance and left a lasting impact in the minds of the fans across the globe. Twas’ pure destruction and devastation as a ”pier-six-brawl” broke out in the ring among ‘The Big Dog’ Roman Reigns, ‘The Man’ Seth Rollins, ‘The Underdog from the Underground’ Sami Zayn, ‘Monster among Men’ Braun Strowman, ‘Mr Wrestling’ Kevin Owens and ‘Y2J’ Chris Jericho!

Brock Lesnar entered the fray, cleared the WWE squared circle, asserted his dominance and sent a message across to everyone (especially Goldberg) on the roster that he’s coming to the Alamodome to win the Rumble.

The main reason for Brock’s absence from Fastlane could be attributed to the fact that WWE want ‘The Icon’ Bill Goldberg to be the center of attention for this pay-per-view.

‘The Icon’ Bill Goldberg will appear on next week’s go-home show of WWE RAW which will air LIVE from the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.

Also, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ Brock Lesnar is scheduled to appear for the same show as well. Surprisingly, Lesnar’s appearance was not mentioned on television. However, on WWE.com, Lesnar is advertised for the event.

Last RAW before the Royal Rumble PPV?! Possibly, a big explosive show down is about to take place next week in Cleveland. The non-advertised appearance of ‘The Beast Incarnate’ will only spice things up a notch!

Any physical interaction between the two box-office attractions before the big event at the Alamodome in San Antonio would be welcomed by the fans worldwide.

The premise of Brock Lesnar’s participation in the Rumble Match this year is retribution against Goldberg, who defeated him in just 86 seconds at the Survivor Series PPV. He appeared in the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, where he cleared the ring filled with competitors such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn and Braun Strowman.

Goldberg has been more open to working a Lesnar-like schedule, so Wrestlemania 33 itself may not be his last appearance.

Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar is said to be one of the matches locked for Wrestlemania 33, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. So, his appearance will definitely be to further their storyline.

Goldberg has many potential feuds on his plate. Nonetheless, his appearance at the Rumble will definitely be to further set the tone of his WrestleMania bout against Brock Lesnar.
