The reason The Hardy Boyz were not on Monday’s RAW this week is because they had plans to continue their feud with The Revival heading into a match at SummerSlam. Scott Dawson’s torn bicep injury changed those plans and as a result Matt and Jeff Hardy were not brought in for the show.

Right now the scheduled SummerSlam match between both teams is up in the air. We will keep you updated if the status changes.

Scott Dawson suffered an injury to his right bicep and could miss this year’s SummerSlam event.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that it’s unclear exactly when the injury may have occurred, but he did appear at Saturday’s WWE Live Event wrapped up. While a partial tear can heal in three to six weeks, surgery would require him to be out of action for up to four to six months.

The Revival were rumored to be involved in a triple threat tag match wit The Hardy Boyz and The club at SummerSlam but those plans can now be off the table.
