First Match Set for WWE SummerSlam
Natalya defeated Lana, Becky Lynch, Tamina and Charlotte in a Fatal 5-Way match at tonight’s WWE Battleground event to earn a shot at the SmackDown Women’s Championship at the upcoming WWE Summerslam event.
No other matches have been officially set for the event.
WWE SummerSlam will take place on August 20, 2017, at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. As always, we will have live coverage of the event.
UFC Fighter Cris Cyborg Wants Becky Lynch at SummerSlam
UFC Fighter Cris Cyborg and Becky Lynch’s had yet another exchange on Twitter. This time around a challenge was issued. We noted earlier this week that Cyborg sent out a warning to Triple H to keep Lynch away from her.
Cyborg is now looking for some action and has challenged Becky to a match at this year’s SummerSlam event. She wrote the following:

WWE Teases Huge UFC vs. WWE Feud
During Friday’s Mae Young Classic tapings at Full Sail University, WWE did an angle that saw a tease between WWE and UFC’s Four Horsewomen.
After one of Shayna Baszler’s matches in the tournament, Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Bayley were shown at ringside on the opposite side of Ronda Rousey and her crew. Both sides had words with each other and it was made obvious WWE has something planned between the two sides, as the angle was recorded.
