While speaking to The New York Post, Dana White was asked about CM Punk possibly having another fight in the UFC and confirmed that Punk will once again step into the octagon.

“I like that guy. He’s a good dude,” White said. “He wants one more. He wants to get another shot. I’m going to give it to him.”

It remains to be seen who his next opponent will be or when the fight will take place. Punk lost his first UFC debut fight against Mickey Gail in the first round via submission at UFC 203. Punk was expected to speak to Dana at UFC 218 regarding another fight but White said he was only there to support a teammate and they didn’t get a chance to talk.

Laurel Van Ness has announced her departure from Impact Wrestling moments after tonight’s television tapings concluded. She sent out the following tweet:

As previously noted, Laurel asked for her release from the company a while back but it was not immediately granted. It now appears that the company granted it and she will be free to work wherever she chooses.

It was noted a few months back that Rey Mysterio was in talks with WWE about a potential return to the company. During today’s mailbag segment of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked if there was an update between Mysterio and WWE.

Meltzer explained that there are no plans for Mysterio to return to WWE at this time and negotiations are pretty much non-existent. Mysterio has plans for the next several months that do not involve WWE. Meltzer said that if WWE was to offer Mysterio a $3 million dollar per year deal, Mysterio would come back but it’s very unlikely WWE would offer him that dollar amount.

While speaking to Al Arabiya English, John Cena was asked who’d he like to face at WrestleMania 34 next year and seemingly avoided giving a direct answer to the question by not mentioning anyone in particular.

“Aw, I’m never in the picking business, man. I might have mentioned that on Edge and Christian’s podcast. Don’t play Vince, if you’re not Vince. The best way to love what you do in that respect is to say, hey, here’s what’s going to happen, and then say, ‘Hey, I’m going to make this effin’ awesome.’”

Cena has been off WWE television since Survivor Series and is expected to make his return next week.

LeRae appeared for WWE in the Mae Young Classic and has also made appearances for NXT but she has not officially signed with the company. It looks like if a deal between WWE and her are not reached, The Bullet Club could be a backup plan.

As previously reported, Dave Meltzer mentioned in the latest issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Finn Balor’s rumored match against Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Title may not take place at next year’s Royal Rumble event.

Meltzer said that Balor’s loss to Kane this past week on RAW could be an indication that the match is off because the company was supposed to be building Balor up for the Championship title match against Brock.

When asked about the situation, Dave Meltzer responded, “I’ve asked around and like, I mean, people who always defend Vince [McMahon] have been, like, there’s no explanation. There’s no defense. He just whiffed.“

Her Husband Travis Browne was asked if he might make the jump as well and responded, “We’re still making decisions on my part … I’m not gonna say no!”

We reported few months back that WWE was very interested in inking a deal with Ronda Rousey to possibly take part in next year’s WrestleMania. Two names that were discussed as opponents for Ronda were Charlotte Flair and Stephanie McMahon.

TMZ Sports caught up with Stephanie McMahon as she was leaving LAX and was asked about if an offer still stands for Ronda Rousey to come to WWE.

Stephanie responded, “Ronda, the offer still stands, we would love to have you in WWE.”

When asked about the possibly of Stephanie McMahon going one-on-one with the UFC Figher, Stephanie mentioned that “anything is possible.”

While speaking to In Touch Magazine, The Bella Twins indicated that when they return to WWE next year, that they would be returning together. When asked about missing WWE, they responded with the following remarks.

“We miss it terribly,” Brie said. “I think about it every day. Once you have the passion for wrestling, you can’t forget it,” Nikki added. “I say we make our comeback in 2018, but as the Bella Twins, not individuals,” Brie said, and Nikki agreed: “It’s a deal!”
