Ethan Carter III is backstage for tonight’s Impact tapings. He was originally scheduled to finish up with the company last night.

There is talk that Bobby Lashely may be finishing up with the company in January, which means that tonight could be his last appearance.

Nick Aldis, Dave Lagana and Tim Storm are also there filming content for the NWA.

Gamma Singh from the old days of Stampede Wrestling is backstage visiting, as is Haku/Meng.

While appearing on Pancakes & Powerslams podcast, Nick “Magus” Aldis’ explained his departure from Impact Wrestling and mentioned that there was no release and he simply declined their contract.

“There was no release. There was nothing like that. A contract was offered to me, which I declined. Anthem offered me a contract. I read the contract. It’s not something that, I’ll say this in the nicest way that I can, it’s not a contract that anyone with any value, any sense of self-value, or self-worth would sign. There’s no point in signing a contract to make you exclusive to one place if you’re not getting anything in return.”
