SPOILERS: WWE NXT Tapings For 5/24, Matches Taped Before TakeOver
Prior to NXT TakeOver Chicago last night (which was a fantastic show), NXT taped some matches for television this week. All three matches are slated to air Wednesday night on the WWE Network.
In the first match of the night, Aleister Black defeated Curt Hawkins. Black won with the Black Mass spin kick.

Patrick Clark wrestled with his new “Velveteen Dream” character. In case you missed the hype video during TakeOver, he’s essentially doing a character modeled after Prince. Clark won over a local Chicago wrestler going by the name Ego.

Drew McIntyre defeated Wesley Blake.
We will of course have a more thorough review of these matches when they air this Wednesday night as part of NXT’s weekly television. Our own Ryan Fogarty will be here Wednesday after the show with his usual written analysis.
NXT will conduct their next round of television tapings beginning this Thursday night at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.
