Shane McMahon Involved In Helicopter Crash; AJ Styles Winning US Title
Shane McMahon Involved In Water Landing
Shane McMahon was involved in a helicopter crash this morning in Long Island. The small helicopter, transporting McMahon and one other person was forced to make a water landing in the waters off Gilgo Beach earlier today. Shane and the other person on board were picked up by the Coast Guard and ferried to safety.
Both people were wearing their life jackets and no one was hurt. Shane was the passenger on the flight.

AJ Styles As US Champ
While most fans are thrilled with AJ Styles as the new US Champion, many are still wondering why the decision was made to take the title off Kevin Owens, especially at a house show. One reason was the upcoming DVD release on AJ, which will be the first for him under the WWE banner.
Another, it’s being rumored, is that WWE didn’t want both of their singles stars on SmackDown Live doing anti-American gimmicks. With Jinder Mahal carrying the WWE World Title, it’s being said that WWE officials felt that one top heel with an anti-American act was more than enough for the blue brand.
Personally, I would have stuck with Kevin Owens’ “Face Of America” deal. Goodness knows he makes more sense and is infinitely better than Mahal.
