“Serious” Injury Takes Place At AEW Revolution
You never want to see what. There are all kinds of matches in wrestling and some of them can be incredibly dangerous. While a wrestler can be hurt in any kind of match, there are certain matches that crank up the risk even higher. That can lead to a variety of injuries and now it seems that one such match might have led to an injury that could put a star on the shelf.
Last weekend’s AEW Revolution pay per view included the Face of the Revolution ladder match, which included six competitors. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Orange Cassidy suffered a shoulder injury when he was tossed over the ring and landed on a pile of wrestlers. There is no word on the severity of his injury or how long he might be out of action as a result, though he was described as the only “serious” injury of the night.
Opinion: That is never good to hear and hopefully Cassidy’s injury is nothing serious and he will be back in action sooner rather than later. A match like that is going to have all kinds of inherent risks and a simple missed landing can take anyone out. Cassidy is a very talented star who can do some impressive things when he is in the ring, so maybe this can be a best case scenario.
What do you think of Cassidy? What should he do when he gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
