According to both PWInsider.com and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bliss is on a hiatus from WWE, with PWInsider reporting that Bliss was not factored into the company’s plans after the Royal Rumble. Bliss has since responded to the reports, saying that she is not on hiatus and “they know where they can find me.” She also said that “you only see what parts of life I want you to see.” There is no word on when Bliss will return..

It can be a terrible thing to see a wrestler be hurt, but not all injures are created equally. They seem to be fans. There are certain moments in wrestling that get fans’ emotions going. There’s your change. Titles are one of the most important things in all of wrestling as they often make someone the top star in a promotion. Winning or losing a title can make a huge change for anyone on a roster and it can be quite the new direction for anyone involved. That was the case again this weekend, as a new champion was crowned in a bit of a surprise win. WWE held its annual Money In The Bank event over the weekend and multiple titles changed hands. First up, Bobby Lashley defeated Theory to win the United States Title for the third time. Later in the night, Ronda Rousey successfully defended the SmackDown Women’s Title against Natalya but Miss Money In The Bank Liv Morgan cashed in to win the title. This includes multiple names for the show’s namesake matches but WWE has already gotten some of them covered. They did even more of that this week, as a few more names qualified for the men’s and women’s versions of the matches. Two more names were added to Money in the Bank ladder matches this week on Monday Night Raw, with one man and one woman qualifying. First up, Omos defeated Riddle to become the fourth entrant (along with Seth Rollins, Sheamus and Drew McIntyre) in the men’s match. Later, in the show’s main event, Asuka defeated Becky Lynch to join Lacey Evans, Alexa Bliss, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez in the women’s match. Eight entrants are scheduled per match, with the show taking place on July 2. Opinion: The last few weeks have been full of matches where the fields grow, but then the ladder matches themselves have to actually work. T..

There are not a ton of wrestlers free due to the ladder matches, but there are enough stories set up to make the show work. Now we have another match set up after several weeks of it being teased before being made official. This week on Monday Night Raw, a United States Title match was officially added to the Money in the Bank card, with Bobby Lashley earning a title shot against Theory. Lashley and Theory have attacked each other in recent weeks, with Theory saying that Lashley could have a title shot if he won a three man gauntlet match. Lashley went on to defeat Chad Gable, Otis and Theory himself, setting up the title match. Opinion: I don’t think it was a surprise to see this match added to the show but at least they finally got it on the card. The show will be built around the show’s namesake matches and those will take up a bunch of time. There are other matches that need to be covered though and that includes some title matches. One of those has been added to the card and it should be a pretty big showdown. WWE has announced that there will be a Tag Team Title match featuring the Street Profits challenging the Usos at Money in the Bank. This is the result of the Usos losing a Champions Contenders match on Monday Night Raw, earning them a title match at some point in the future. The match will be for both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles, both of which the Profits have held before. Opinion: You knew this match was coming at some point and it is the kind of thing that makes sense. There are not many teams ready to challenge the Usos but the Profits certainly fit the mold. The next major WWE pay per view is in less than a month and the show is going to need to be a big one. WWE knows to put on a special show and they have already started setting up the card, as a first title match was set for the show this very week. This week on Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley won a fatal four way match to become the new #1 contender for the Raw Women’s Title. As a result, Ripley will be challenging Bianca Belair for the title at Monday In The Bank on July 2. Ripley defeated Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss and Doudrop to gain the title shot, pinning Doudrop with the Riptide in the show’s main event. Opinion: This is the way you build a show as WWE wasted no time in setting up a fresh title match for the pay per view. This time though there are going to be fans in attendance, which means that one of the biggest spectacles on the WWE calendar is going to have a live audience. Yeah that’s a big one. There are a lot of changes taking place in WWE at the moment and some of them have been more positive than negative. The biggest difference will be the return of fans to the arenas, which will begin later this week with SmackDown.
