VIDEO: WWE Hall Of Famers Take Issue With Raw XXX

They aren’t happy. This week’s WWE Monday Night Raw was a special edition focusing on thirty years of the show. That is the kind of milestone that no wrestling show reaches, especially not as one of the biggest wrestling shows in the world throughout its run. It meant something to be associated with the show and now two legends are taking issue with something that wasn’t involved. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Dem Boy? Update On Mark Briscoe Possibly Appearing On AEW TV The Bella Twins had been previously advertised for Raw XXX but were later removed and ultimately did not appear on the show. The Twins recorded a live Instagram stream after the show was over, talking about how there was little mention of the Women’s Revolution and saying WWE could not mention Mercedes Mone (Sasha Banks) because she is too popular. There is no word on why the two were pulled from the show. They might have a point. Check out what the Twins said, plus their time on Monday Night Raw: [This post contains video..

WWE Broadcaster Confirms Departure From The Company Amid Shakeup

It was a nice run. The position of lead commentator on WWE Monday Night Raw is one of the most important in all of WWE. The show is still the company’s flagship program and fans are going to see what they company is doing every Monday night. We are currently going through a change in broadcasting, but one name is not going to be reassigned to another place in the company. Earlier this week, a report emerged that WWE would be changing the broadcasting teams on the three main television shows. This included Jimmy Smith being removed as the lead play by play announcer on Monday Night Raw. Smith has since commented on the situation, confirming that he has left WWE. Smith thanked fans for his time in the company and said that he was moving on, though not to where. This ends Smith’s run with WWE, which started in May 2021. Just wanted to say, now that the story is officially out, that my time with the WWE is officially done. Had a lot of fun and met some great people. Really and truly blow..

Huge Reunion Set For October 10 Monday Night Raw

It’s a homecoming. Stables have long since been a major concept in WWE and it makes a lot of sense. Putting a group of wrestlers together allows them to fill in more television time while also getting more people on the show. That is a tricky thing to do and a stable can make it that much easier. Now WWE is bringing back one of the biggest stables ever for a special reunion. As announced by the Barclays Center Twitter, D-Generation X will be reuniting to celebrate twenty five years of the team on the October 10 Monday Night Raw. The members who will be appearing are not specified but Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Road Dogg and X-Pac appear in the clip. There is no word on what the team will be doing during their reunion. D-Generation X has had various reunions over the years after splitting up full time. BROOKLYN! The DX 25th Anniversary Celebration is set to take place at @wwe Monday Night RAW on October 10!? Surprise Return Takes Place At The End Of WWE Monday Night Raw

Welcome back. There are a lot of wrestlers today and not all of them are in WWE or AEW. It can be interesting to see where those wrestlers wind up, as some of them will either debut or return to one of the bigger promotions. That can make for some very interesting moments, especially if the return is a surprise. That was the case this week as a familiar face came back to WWE. There was a story taking place in the background this week on Monday Night Raw involving a car. During the show, wrestlers were seen looking at a wrecked car in the parking lot. Later, the car was put on a tow truck, with police offers running from the scene of the crash into the arena. At the end of the show, the police arrested a man in the crowd, who was identified as former NXT star Dexter Lumis. This would be Lumis’ first appearance since April when he was released from his WWE contract. Opinion: For the first time in a good while, I’m curious about where a story is going. Lumis was around NXT for a long ti..

WATCH: Former Intercontinental Champion Makes WWE Return In A Different Role

Welcome back. There have been a lot of wrestlers throughout WWE’s history but not all of them have been able to make the biggest impact. While several wrestlers have become famous over the company’s history, there are also some who have become more infamous for one reason or another. Someone who is more in the middle made his return to WWE television this week, albeit in a very different role. This week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw featured a brawl between Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes as part of the build towards their match inside Hell In A Cell this Sunday. The brawl featured several referees and producers attempting to hold the two apart, including former Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel. This was the first appearance for Axel on WWE TV since he returned to the company as a producer just after WrestleMania 38. You might be able to see him. Check out the brawl between Rollins and Rhodes: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is one of those cool cameo..

Here Are The Two Names WWE Has Picked To Represent The Company

The important ones. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world but they still have new places to conquer. The company already has a huge international presence and some major television deals, but they can always use more money and power. Now they have the chance to do so, and we know who they are using to help present themselves. This week, NBC Universal is holding its up fronts in New York City, where the company tries to convince companies to buy advertising time on their shows. This includes WWE, which featured the Miz and Bianca Belair as WWE’s official representatives. The NBC Advertising And Partnerships Twitter account posted a photo of the two at the presentations. NBC Universal currently airs WWE Monday Night Raw and WWE content on its Peacock streaming service. Channel Changer: WWE Monday Night Raw Was Almost Canceled At One Point

Talk about a game changer. There are certain wrestling shows that are part of the fabric of the industry and Monday Night Raw might be at the top of that list. The show has been on the air for almost thirty years and has run over 1,500 shows. While most of those shows have come on the USA Network, there have been more than a few which aired elsewhere. It turns out that the show was almost off of the network entirely. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Monday Night Raw was almost canceled at some point in 1996 or 1997. A new executive was brought in to run the USA Network and did not want wrestling on the channel. The show was about to be canceled but the ratings increased enough that the executive had to keep it on the air. It was not clear what would happen if the show had been removed from the network schedule. Opinion: This is an interesting story, but not so much for the history. I find this to be more interesting because of what it says about a wrestling show. Just because a..

How Sweet It Is: New Super Team Seems To Form On WWE Monday Night Raw

A pair to draw to. WWE has a unique history with tag team wrestling as they very rarely tend to focus on it. Rather than building up traditional teams, WWE tends to like to put two singles wrestlers together as makeshift teams, often leading to major tag matches. That seems to be the case again, as some top stars seem to be coming together on a heck of a collision course. This week on Monday Night Raw, AJ Styles defeated Damian Priest in a singles match. After the match was over, Priest’s partner Edge attacked Styles, with Priest and Edge attempting to further damage Styles’ shoulder. This caused Finn Balor, who has had issues with Edge and Priest in recent weeks, to run in for the save. Balor and Styles, both former members of the Bullet Club, then did the Too Sweet gesture. No match has been made between the two teams. Opinion: I like the idea of Balor and Styles together, though it does seem a bit weird that Styles is able to defeat Priest with Edge helping him and THEN gets a par..

WrestleMania Rematch Confirmed For WrestleMania Backlash

Add it to the card. We are less than two weeks away from WWE WrestleMania Backlash and the company has put together a lot of the show. The good thing about this event is that it has a built in theme from its name alone, as WWE can run WrestleMania fallout matches. That seems to be what they are doing, and now we have another case where the name fits the match. This week on WWE Monday Night Raw, Bobby Lashley defeated Omos in an arm wrestling match. Following the match, Omos attacked Lashley and left him laying before issuing a challenge to Lashley for a match at WrestleMania Backlash. The match was officially confirmed later in the night on Raw Talk. This will be a rematch from WrestleMania where Lashley defeated Omos. BREAKING: As announced on #RAWTalk, The All Mighty @fightbobby will collide with @TheGiantOmos at #WMBacklash!https://t.co/YDPGxoLOKQ@The305MVP pic.twitter.com/21XOp0CmPc — WWE (@WWE) April 26, 2022 Opinion: This isn’t a big shock as the match has been teased since t..

Possible Explanation For Why A Monday Night Raw Team Split

There’s your reason. Teams and groups split up all the time in wrestling though it might not be the most obvious reason. It can make for some rather annoying moments as a team might still be popular before they are taken apart. That annoyance can go away a bit if you find out what there are bigger plans going on and that seems to be the case with a recent WWE split. This week on WWE Monday Night Raw, Rhea Ripley attacked Liv Morgan to end their team. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the split may have taken place to set up Ripley as the next major challenger for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Title. This may also explain why Sonya Deville’s shot at Belair was moved to next week on Monday Night Raw rather than next month at WrestleMania Backlash. Opinion: I could certainly go for Ripley getting a title shot as a serious monster but I don’t know if I would believe her winning the title. If nothing else, Ripley vs. Belair sounds like a Summerslam showdown rather than a WrestleMania B..

Him? WWE Presents Very Surprising Name As Face Of Monday Night Raw

They seem to be impressed. WWE has been around for a very long time and it means a lot to be one of the company’s featured stars. If you are one of the focal points of WWE, it suggests that you are going to be a major player in the wrestling industry and that means your face is going to be seen in a lot of places. That was the case again this week and the face might have been a surprise. This weekend, the United States Football League returned after a nearly forty year absence. The broadcast of at least one game included an advertisement for WWE Monday Night Raw and SmackDown. While the SmackDown side of the graphic featured Roman Reigns, the Monday Night Raw side featured Cody Rhodes. This comes after Rhodes returned to the company less than a month ago at WrestleMania 38 and suggests that Rhodes will be a featured star both on Monday Night Raw and on WWE programming in general. WWE TV ads have Cody Rhodes featured as the top star on #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/9TDuIdNKpt — Wrestling N..

Stone Cold Steve Austin Officially Challenged For WrestleMania 38

There’s your answer. WrestleMania is on the horizon and that means it is time for WWE to find something to make the show feel as important as possible. That is often easier said than done but now the company seems to be putting together some of their bigger ideas. They still need a few more major concepts though and that is what they seem to have set up this week. This week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw opened with Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens failing to win the Raw Tag Team Titles. As a result, the two did not have a path to WrestleMania, but Owens said he had an idea. At the end of the show, Owens said that he wanted to put on the biggest Kevin Owens Show of all time at WrestleMania. Owens issued a challenge to Steve Austin to be his guest. This comes after rumors of Austin wrestling another match at the event, with Owens insulting Austin’s home state of Texas for several weeks. There is no word on if Austin will appear before WrestleMania. Opinion: As much fun as it would have..

WWE Monday Night Raw And NXT Moving Around Next Month

Mark your calendars. WWE has a lot of television content to film and that can make things a bit hectic at times. Some of their shows are the biggest in wrestling and it makes sense that they will take priority over others. Sometimes though there are bigger forces at work that have to be catered to, and that is going to be the case with WWE’s biggest show for a little while. According to PWInsider.com, two weeks of Monday Night Raw and NXT will be moved from the USA Network to SyFy. The February 7 and February 14 Monday Night Raw and February 8 and February 15 NXT will be moved due to USA’s coverage of the Winter Olympics. The moves will only be for those two weeks, with both shows being back on USA starting on February 21. Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to happen at some point and that is not a bad thing. WWE gets a lot of benefits out of their relationship with NBC and sometimes they have to give something up in exchange. Just advertise things as much as you can so..

More Former Champions Set For WWE Royal Rumble Matches

The show is still growing. In less than two weeks, WWE will be presenting one of its biggest shows of the year with the Royal Rumble. The show will go a long way to setting the stage for WrestleMania 38, as you will likely find out who will be involved in the show’s main event matches. Those matches will be set up by the Royal Rumble matches, and now some more names have been added. Some more names were announced for the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches this week on WWE Monday Night Raw. First up, Kevin Owens announced that he will be taking part in the men’s Royal Rumble match. The announcement came during an edition of the Kevin Owens Show, as he said that he would win the match to face his guest, Seth Rollins, who would win the Universal Title at the Royal Rumble. Owens is the fifteenth entrant out of thirty in the match. Also during the show, Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair announced that they would be entering the women’s Royal Rumble match. The announcements came before the ..

WRESTLING RUMORS: Big Update On Missing WWE Monday Night Raw Star

It would be a welcome return. There are all kinds of wrestlers on the WWE roster and some of them are quite popular. One of the best things about having such a talented group of wrestlers is being able to see who shows up on any given week. It can be fascinating to see what you get, especially if one of them is a nice surprise. We might be seeing another one of them soon. Asuka has not wrestled on WWE television since Money in the Bank 2021 back in July. Since then, she had been seen in a photo with her arm in a metal brace, suggesting that she was on the injured list. According to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Wrestling Podcast, Asuka could be back in WWE at any time as she should be cleared to return soon. There is no specific date given on when she will be back. Asuka debuted in NXT in 2015 and won the NXT Title in April 2016, holding the title for over a year and never being defeated for it. She would vacate the championship due to an injury after a 522 day reign before moving up ..

Wrestler Appears On WWE And AEW TV In The Same Week

Double payday. The wrestling world has changed quite a bit, as there is now more content available than ever before. One of the biggest reasons for this is the arrival of AEW, which has become the second biggest wrestling promotion in the world in just a few years of existence. The company allows wrestlers another place to go, and that was certainly the case for a specific wrestler this week. Independent wrestler Leo Sparrow appeared on both WWE Monday Night Raw and AEW Rampage this week. Sparrow wrestled in a loss to Omos on Monday Night Raw and appeared in a music video from the Acclaimed on Rampage. Sparrow shared a photo of both appearances on Twitter. This is not the first time someone has done this, as Kelsey Heather did the same in July 2021. The #SonOfTheSun was on #WWERAW AND #AEWRampage this week ??? pic.twitter.com/8T6vJ1Dpa3 — Leo Sparrow (@NoSteakAllSizzl) January 15, 2022 Opinion: That is the kind of thing you don’t get to see very often and it must be a thrill for Sp..

Healthy Days: More On Recent WWE Absences

Did they get a doctor’s note? The wrestling world is currently being rocked by the Coronavirus pandemic and there is no reason to believe that it is going to be getting much better in the near future. There have been cases throughout WWE and there is no reason to believe that it is going to get any better anytime soon. It has already caused WWE to take some cautions, and now we know a bit more about what happened this week. Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, Michael Hayesand Kevin Dunn all missed this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, which took place after a Coronavirus outbreak hit the company. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Prichard has been dealing with an ongoing but undisclosed health issue. The other three missed the show as a precautionary measure to make sure that all three were healthy and in attendance for this weekend’s WWE Day One pay per view. Those are some important people to have missing. Check out what the three of them can do when they are around: [This ..
