Could Matt Hardy’s Broken Universe Make NXT Debut?

That’s one way to go for Hardy. There are a lot of people under the WWE umbrella and that is going to make it difficult to find something for all of them to do. NXT alone has a ton of people and since so many of them are new to the bigger stage, a lot of them might not have any kind of established gimmick or character. It can be hard to figure out something for everyone and WWE may have missed a big chance. Back in 2016, Matt Hardy debuted the Broken character and reached a level that almost no one could have imagined he had in him. The story and characters were so over the top and insane that you could ignore a lot of their flaws, which made for some amazing moments. Now that being said, it would have taken a lot to make it work in WWE, but it turns out that WWE was interested in trying. Now That Has Potential. Matt Hardy Pushing For A Very Different Kind Of Story (With Multiple Characters).

A flashback worth the time. A few years ago, Matt Hardy’s Broken Matt character took Impact Wrestling by storm and made him the hottest act in wrestling for a little while. The character eventually made its way to WWE and became a hit as well, due to Hardy’s ability to sell the heck out of the character. Now though, we might be in for three times the insanity going forward. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Hardy is pitching a storyline to WWE that would see him appear as four different characters at the same time ala the Three Faces of Foley. The characters would include Woken Matt, Big Money Matt (which was hinted at earlier this week), Matt Hardy V1 and regular Matt Hardy, which he has used in recent weeks. Broken Beyond Repair? Video: Matt Hardy Announces Retirement From WWE

That’s not delightful. Matt Hardy is one of the most interesting as well as successful names in the history of professional wrestling. He’s won more Tag Team Titles than he knows what to do with and has even had some singles success of his own. His Woken/Broken characters were some of the most creative things you’ll ever see and he was even allowed to bring that to WWE. But now, it might all be going away. Goodbye? Hardy wrestled in a triple threat tag match with Bray Wyatt against the B Team and Dolph Ziggler/Drew McIntyre for the Raw Tag Team Titles. Hardy has been dealing with some injuries of late and says that he is leaving to spend time with his wife and two children. There is no word on if he’ll be working for WWE in another capacity. Jeff Hardy Makes His Return To WWE Raw

Jeff Hardy is back on WWE television after missing several months with a shoulder injury. Former WWE Champion Jeff Hardy returned to WWE Raw on the April 9 edition, inserting himself into the WWE Intercontinental Title picture. He came to the aid of both Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, who were outnumbered by The Miztourage during an in-ring segment. Hardy was sidelined back in September, after sustaining an injury at the July Great Balls of Fire Iron Man tag team match. Since then, his brother Matt has been "woken" and embroiled in a feud with Bray Wyatt. It would appear based on the booking of the last two nights, Jeff and Matt are headed their separate ways on WWE TV. ‘Woken’ Matt Hardy wowed fans, as Twitter blew up in positivity following the ‘Ultimate Deletion’ match on ‘Raw’ this week. With everything that accomplished, could we see another ‘Ultimate Deletion’ on WWE TV? Who wouldn’t want to talk to a dead president? WWE has posted a new video to their YouTube channel, in which “Woken” Matt Hardy talks to the first President of the United States, George Washington. He has, however, taken the modern form of a giraffe his Hardy’s Personal Zoo. Elias Discusses His Love of Playing the Guitar, His Songs, WrestleMania

The “Ultimate Deletion” To Take Place Next Week on “Raw”

It’s finally here. It was previously reported that “Woken” Matt Hardy challenged Bray Wyatt to a match that was referred to as “The Ultimate Deletion.” However, there has been much speculation as to when the match would take place. Those questions were answered tonight on “Raw,” as Hardy announced that the match would be taking place on next week’s show. ‘Raw‘ Superstar Matt Hardy was interviewed by Sportskeeda where he spoke about The Young Bucks possibly coming to WWE, The Dudley Boyz going into the Hall of Fame and his opinions on The Bar. The ‘Woken’ being first talked about The Young Bucks and if he could envision them coming to WWE. “That’s an interesting question. Personally, I’m a fan of the Bucks of Youth both as performers and as people. I think they’re doing pretty well right now and I can see them staying in that same division. But I certainly think that they could end up in WWE if they decided to make that decision. “It’ll be interesting because being in WWE there’s a very stringent system and a certain protocol.
