WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair was recently interviewed on “Out of Character” with Ryan Satin, where she discussed a number of topics. Among them were her return to WWE, dental issues that kept her out of wrestling, how she found out she was winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship and more. Below are some highlights from the interview: On returning to WWE: “I didn’t feel any ring rust. The only difference is being a good guy instead of a bad guy, you know, wanting to tell my bad guy what to do (she laughs), but keep your mouth shut. But no, it’s been great. I remember him! Wrestlers are celebrities, but they have a bit of a strange status to them. While they are famous, they are famous for pretty much one thing. Occasionally they will be able to break through to the other side and gain fame for something else, which can open up some doors. That was on display this week, as a wrestling legend was unveiled on a competition show. AEW’s Chris Jericho was unveiled as the Bride on this week’s edition of the Masked Singer, where he was eliminated from the competition following his performance of Billy Idol’s “White Wedding”. This came a week after Jericho, then still masked, performed on the show and was identified by fans recognizing his voice. That is something that can happen to anyone if they are gone long enough, but it also means that there can be a big moment when they come back after a layoff. This weekend at WWE Extreme Rules, a vignette aired announcing that Charlotte would be returning to WWE soon, though no specific date was given. During an appearance on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, Julia Hart revealed that she and fellow AEW star Lee Johnson are engaged. Congratulations! Wrestling is a complicated industry as you have no idea when the wrestlers are going to be able to find free time for anything outside of the ring. The wrestlers are on the road almost constantly and romantic relationships can be even more complicated than anything else. Some wrestlers have figured it out though, even while working for different promotions. During a recent appearance on the Sessions podcast with Renee Paquette, AEW’s Toni Storm revealed that she and New Japan’s Juice Robinson have been married. The two had previously announced their engagement, with Storm saying that they had been planning a wedding before just deciding to get married one morning. Wedding bells will be ringing! According to a report from TMZ, Sammy Guevara proposed to Tay Conti at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France, earlier today. She said yes, and the couple is now engaged! The two have been a couple since January 2022. They have been regularly featured as an on-screen couple as well. This is not Guevara’s first proposal; he was in a relationship for eight years with Pamella Nizio, a medical worker from Houston. In August 2021, he proposed to her at an AEW show in Houston in the middle of the ring; however, they split up soon afterward in October.
