That would be a fight. Wrestling is a unique sport as while it is presented as a legitimate fight, the finishes are pre-determined and the wrestlers are tasked with working together to make the match work as well as possible. However, there are also questions about who would win should these matches be legitimate contests. Now one legend is chiming in on who he thinks could beat a top WWE star. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Braun Strowman Gets Slapped Hard During WWE Dark Match During an interview with Wrestling Shoot Interviews, former WWE and WCW star the Barbarian was asked what would happen in a fight between Brock Lesnar and Haku. Barbarian said that he felt if the fight was structured with rules, Lesnar would win, but if it was a bar fight with no rules and both in their primes, Haku would be able to take Lesnar. Haku is often cited as the toughest wrestler in history, while Lesnar is a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and NCAA Heavyweight Wrestling Champion. These are some tal..
Smackdown Date: December 10, 2021 Location: Staples Center, Los Angeles, California Commentators: Michael Cole, Pat McAfee We’re on the way to Day One and that means some more of the show needs to be put together. The main event of Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the Universal Title is now set, but we are now missing a Jeff Hardy, who was released earlier this week. That could shake things up a bit so let’s get to it. Here is Sami Zayn, in a wheelchair/leg cast/neck brace, with two male nurses pushing him to the ring. After a video on last week’s big beatdown at the hands of Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar, Sami says he is the toughest man in WWE. Sami talks about how this isn’t necessarily a conspiracy, but he was betrayed last week….and now he has to sue. He promises to sue everyone involved with last week but here is Paul Heyman to interrupt. Heyman: “You’re doing my people’s shtick. My people own entertainment in Hollywood.” Sami tells him to get out of his camera shot but Heyma..
Bryan Danielson is hitting his stride in AEW. The American Dragon worked two of the toughest men in the industry on back to back nights and went over in both matches. She’s hardcore. There are very few things in athletics harder than winning an Olympic medal. It takes several years of dedication and training, as the competition is literally the best in the world. A few of them have made the move over to professional wrestling, including Ronda Rousey. That same toughness that helped earn her an Olympic medal in judo has helped her in other areas, as a new story explains. Mark Henry was recently a guest on Busted Open Radio and told a story about Rousey undergoing treatment for an injury that involved having stem cells injected. Henry had undergone the same procedure and upon waking up, begged to be put back to sleep to avoid the pain. Rousey underwent the procedure while awake without anesthesia, which was enough for Henry to see her as one of the toughest people in the world. Here is Henry’s version of the story, with transcription courtesy of Wrestlinginc.com: “Maybe it’s not for me to tell this story, but I’ll let the cat out the bag. I heard, b..
Naito minces no words about his dislike for Chris Jericho. The tranquilo Tetsuya Naito keeps his cool throughout the toughest of situations but what took place during night two of NJPW's 'Wrestling Dontaku' event was the straw that broke that camels back. As Naito exited the ring after receiving admiration from the Fukuoka faithful in attendance he was attacked by a "fan" who was wearing a 'Bushi' mask. That "fan" turned out to be former nine-time WWE Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho who was last seen in NJPW when he attacked Naito from behind at 'New Years Dash' the day after Wrestle Kingdom 12. Prior to their first encounter Naito voiced his opinion on Chris Jericho coming into the company and stealing spotlight away from his main event match against Kazuchika Okada at Wrestle Kingdom. The bad blood between the two men will peak on June 9th at NJPW's 'Dominion' event as Chris Jericho will make his in-ring return to the compan..
