LOOK: WWE Star Reveals New Look While Interrupting Big Match

November 22, 2022

It worked before. There are several different aspects that go into making a wrestler work out in the right way. In addition to everything that takes place on the microphone and in the ring, a wrestler’s appearance needs to make them stand out in some way. Occasionally a change needs to be made and now a longstanding WWE star has done just that with a bit of a flashback. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: WWE Boss Triple H Sees Monday Night Raw Star As “Reclamation Project” This week on Monday Night Raw, Akira Tozawa appeared in his old tights and with blond hair, rather than the martial arts attire and black hair he had been sporting for years. Tozawa interrupted the Baron Corbin vs. Drew McIntyre match by distracting Corbin’s manager John Bradshaw Layfield, costing Corbin the match. This comes a week after Tozawa posted a photo of his old gear with a caption saying “thank you”, though it is not confirmed that he was talking about the upcoming change. Old look: IMG Credit: WW..

WATCH: Becky Lynch Has A Surprising New Challenger

November 2, 2021

She might be next. Women’s wrestling in WWE has come a very long way in the last several years and that has been a very good thing. Women have now main evented the Royal Rumble, Survivor Series and even WrestleMania, which would have been nearly impossible to believe even ten years ago. New stars will have to move up though and we might have seen someone taking a step in that direction this week. This week’s Monday Night Raw opened with Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch successfully defending her title against Bianca Belair while using a handful of tights. Later in the show, Lynch bragged about her win and said she needed someone new to give her a challenge. Liv Morgan appeared and stared Lynch down, suggesting that she would be the next challenger for the title. No match has been announced as of yet. This could be interesting. Major Gimmick Title Match Set For Clash Of Champions

September 19, 2020

Hang it up. We are coming up on Clash Of Champions where the show will be built around titles. That makes for an interesting show as you know you are going to get a lot of title matches, but the question is who gets to challenge the champions. We already have some of the challengers set in stone, but now we have another match set up with a pair of challengers coming for a title. Back at WrestleMania 36, Sami Zayn defeated Daniel Bryan to retain the Intercontinental Title, but then disappeared from television due to Coronavirus worries. This meant that a new champion was needed, with AJ Styles winning the vacant title in a tournament. Jeff Hardy went on to win the title, with Styles wanting a rematch. Zayn has since returned, claiming to be the real champion. I think you can guess where this is going. This week on SmackDown, Styles defeated Zayn in a singles match while grabbing the tights. After the match was over, Hardy ran out and said that he was tired of dealing with all of the d..

March 16, 2020

The Austin Era has begun. WWE has posted a new video to its YouTube channel in which they show the full match between Shawn Michaels and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin from WrestleMania 14. It was here that The Rattlesnake earned his first WWE Championship. You can see the match in its entirety below: From our own Thomas Hall: They circle each other to start and there’s a double bird for HBK. Shawn pops him with a left hand and does it again a few seconds later. The champion runs away but gets caught back inside as Austin pounds away and pulls Shawn’s tights down to give the girls a thrill. A backdrop puts Shawn on the floor but HHH gets in a shot to Austin’s back. He sends Austin into the barricade which gets both him and Chyna ejected. Austin beats up HHH in the aisle but it lets Michaels get in a shot to take over. Shawn sends Austin into the dumpster shoulder first and we head back to the ring. The challenger comes back with right hands and there’s a Flair Flip which must feel like..

Velveteen Dream Might Be In Trouble

December 22, 2018

Is it a bad dream? Over the last few years, few superstars have risen faster than the Velveteen Dream. He’s gone from what felt like a joke of a talent to a heck of a performer and one of the most popular heroes in NXT. His work has been incredible and he has more charisma than he knows what to do with, but there might be a bit of a roadblock on his path towards the top of NXT. According to Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com by way of NoDQ.com, Velveteen Dream may be in trouble over a recent string of tweets that he sent out and then deleted, where he complained about not being called up to the main roster yet. Velveteen Dream has tweeted some controversial statements and since deleted them before so it is likely the subject that got him in trouble this time. It hasn’t been limited to Twitter either, as Velveteen Dream wore tights at Takeover: Brooklyn IV that said “CALL ME UP VINCE!”. Dig those tights! Oh and check out a good match: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: I..
