These are the moments and triumphs that are remembered for years to come and it can mean a lot to see one of them either reached or ended. However, in an interview with Ariel Helwani on BT Sport, Undertaker revealed that there had been other names considered to break the Streak. It could be worse? We are getting closer and closer to WrestleMania and a lot of the card has already been set up. With so little time left though, there are only so many more changes that can be made. Occasionally something happens that necessitates a change though and while we have not reached that point just yet, one WWE star will not be going into WrestleMania as planned. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: It’s Over: Six Month Old Streak Snapped On Monday Night Raw Last week on SmackDown, Ronda Rousey accompanied Shayna Baszler to the ring with her arm in a sling. This was later revealed to be due to Rousey re-aggravating a previous injury. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Rousey and Baszler are still expected to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania, but Rousey is not likely to be at 100% for the match. It had to happen at some point. Wrestling is a weird sport in that while wins and losses matter, the results are planned in advance. What makes it more interesting is that fans can get behind the idea of a wrestler winning over and over, as it makes them seem like a bigger star. After a rather successful football career, Goldberg would go on to become a huge star in wrestling. Former WWE Referee Mickie Jay Passes Away At Age 58
We have some sad news to report today as former WWE referee Mickie Jay Henson has passed away at the age of 59 due to complications from pneumonia, related to COVID-19. From WWE.com: Henson officiated his first match in 1987 at the Eddie Graham Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. He then joined WCW in 1992 and went on to referee in some of the promotion’s most memorable matches, including the ending of Goldberg’s historic undefeated streak at the hands of Kevin Nash at Starrcade 1998. Signing with WWE in 2005, Henson then brought his officiating expertise to more incredible bouts for years to come featuring the likes of John Cena, Kurt Angle, The Undertaker, Edge, and many more. KB’s Review: She’s ALMOST Done
It’s time for your weekly reminder that WWE isn’t doing very well at the moment. The problems have been going on so long at the moment that it can be a little difficult to keep up interest, but every now and then you see something that draws you back in. Unfortunately that seems to be a waste of time more often than not, as WWE is going to manage to screw things up one way or another. This week, we’re taking a look at one such case, and how it might be getting even worse. Back in June, Nikki Cross debuted a new character, which would eventually be dubbed Nikki Ash: Almost a Superhero. Ash would go on to win the Money in the Bank briefcase, cash it in on Charlotte, and win the Women’s Title in a nice moment. Then Charlotte won it back about a month later because Charlotte, so Ash went on to win the Women’s Tag Team Titles with Rhea Ripley and promptly did nothing with them, leading to losing the titles and a losing streak that has (at least as of when I’m writing this part) most recent..

Update On WWE’s Plans For Nikki Ash’s Losing Streak
Tugging at the heartstrings. There are a lot of ways to present wrestlers in WWE and some of them are a bit more interesting than others. What matters the most is finding something that gets the fans’ attention and makes them care though, which is one of those things that might not be the easiest thing in the world to do. Now WWE has an idea for one of its stars, but it might not be that easy. Over the last few weeks, Nikki Ash has suffered a losing streak, including being defeated by Queen Zelina in less than three minutes this week on Monday Night Raw. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the idea of the losing streak is to build up sympathy for Ash by having her go through a depression over her losing. There is no word on what the end goal for the losing streak will be, or when Ash will begin winning again. Ash has been having some a rough time as of late. These WWE Wrestlers Requested To Be Released
They got what they wanted. Last week, WWE continued its streak of releasing wrestlers from the company. This is something that they have done on and off for over the last year and a half, with eighteen more wrestlers being let go in the span of about an hour last week. As has been the case before though, not all of the releases were the same, and some of them were different than the others. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, at least Zayda Ramier, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik all requested their releases from the company. However, WWE did not immediately grant them, but rather waited for the rest of the group of releases to officially let them go. None of the three were being used by WWE, with Ramier only wrestling five matches during her time in the company and neither Metalik nor Dorado wrestling since September. SmackDown Star Unveils An Entirely New Character
That’s who he is now. There are certain wrestlers who are known by one name and one name only. It is rare for some of those names to change, but every now and then you hear something different and it can kind of throw you off a bit. That being said, sometimes a change is needed and it can make things better. It seems that we are seeing that again at the moment. This week on SmackDown, Baron Corbin officially changed his name to Happy Corbin. The change comes after Corbin ended his unlucky streak by winning money gambling in Las Vegas over the week. As a result, Corbin now has money and a new Bentley, though he was unable to buy Big E.’s Money in the Bank briefcase. This comes after several weeks of Corbin being left destitute by a series of financial setbacks and problems. Corbin has had a heck of a ride.
