This is the Roadblock special, because we need a special event less than a month before what is probably the biggest NXT event of the year. Since the NXT Champion is in a six man tag, the real main event is probably Shawn Michaels appearing on the Grayson Waller Effect. NXT has teased Michaels fighting Waller, so odds are we see who is doing it in Michaels’ place this week. Let’s get to it. We open with Tiffany’s Epiphanies, as Tiffany Stratton runs down the card and talks about how we got here. Farewell: AEW Star Reportedly Leaving Company After Three Year Run

It’s been a fun ride. AEW has come a long way since its inception and a lot of that has been due to the roster it has put together. The company has been built on a mixture of veterans, up and comers and legends, all of whom have mixed into quite the lineup. Not everyone can stick around forever though, and now it seems that one of the names that has been around for a long time is taking her leave. According to Fightful Select, Vickie Guerrero will be finishing up with AEW when he contract expires in July. That was the case this week, as a retired legend was not happy with a current star. This has included Waller interrupting Michaels’ post-Vengeance Day media call, earning himself a suspension. Waller’s suspension was up this week, but he yelled at Michaels after losing a match. He’s In: Update On WWE’s Plans For Sami Zayn Going Forward

Stick to the plan. We are coming up on WrestleMania 39 and the show’s main event has already been set. After winning the men’s Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes became the new #1 contender to Roman Reigns. Their title match has officially been set up, but there is a detail involving someone else on the roster. One other wrestler is rather popular at the moment, but WWE has made up its mind. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: What? Steve Austin Set To Host New Weekly Television Series The angle at the end of the Royal Rumble saw Sami Zayn turn on the Bloodline by attacking Reigns with a chair. The Bloodline then attacked Zayn to end the show. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, the plan is for Zayn to challenge Reigns at Elimination Chamber, which has “been the plan all along”. WWE reportedly does not see Zayn as the face of the company, while Rhodes is seen as someone who could potentially headline WrestleMania. This includes wrestlers who have been deemed WWE legends, many of which still make appearances with the company long after their careers are over. Now another legend has announced that he will be sticking with WWE for a rather long time to come. The deal will allow Godfather to remain on the company’s payroll while appearing at special events and having merchandise released. Godfather appeared at Raw XXX in a series of backstage segments involving a poker game. During the interview, Godfather said he had been on a Legends contract with WWE since 2003. As a result, the company is able to showcase different kinds of wrestling with stars of differing levels of experience. Details On Naomi’s Current WWE Status, Possible Future According to Fightful Select, AQA has officially been removed from the AEW roster page as her contract with the company has expired. They might be on to something. We are less than a week away from WWE Survivor Series, which will feature a pair of WarGames matches. There will be a men’s and women’s edition of the match, with the former having a completely set lineup. The women’s match still has a single spot to be filled and it is not clear who will take the slot. However, some fans certainly have a theory. Good For Them! WWE Personality Announces His Wife Is Expecting First Child

That’s pretty awesome. There are all kinds of people in the wrestling world and all of them have lives going on outside of the ring that we rarely see. They have the same kind of lives that we do, including some things that can be rather positive to hear. Now another WWE personality has some more great news and is sharing his family’s announcement with the world. WWE broadcaster Pat McAfee and his wife Samantha have announced that they are expecting their first child in may. Samantha revealed that she has lost two pregnancies in the past and this one was conceived via IVF. Pat thanked everyone who has helped them through the rough times to get to this point, including friends and family. Pat is currently on hiatus from his job as SmackDown commentator and is expected back after college football season ends. After about 150 shots, a surgery, a transfer, countless blood tests, waiting on embryos, genetic testing, hoping for a big fat positive on a pee stick. So much support from family..
