The -110 means you’ll need to bet $110 to get a $100 payout if the Steelers win. Editor’s Opinion: So, The Elite, J..

Please Don’t Be Bad: WWE Star May Have Suffered An Injury

That could be serious. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and you never know when you are going to see someone put on the shelf for any amount of time. Seeing an injury of any kind is a bad thing as you don’t know when someone might be back in the ring. The tricky thing with wrestling is that there are storyline injuries as well, and now we don’t know which kind we are seeing. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Back Soon: Monday Night Raw Star Taking Break From WWE TV The main event of this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw Becky Lynch defeat Bayley in a steel cage match with an assist from Lita. WRESTLING RUMORS: Another WWE Hall Of Famer To Return, Team With Lita/Becky Lynch

This is a big one. Legends have been used as a major part of wrestling for a very long time. Wrestling is one of the only sport where a legend can jump back in with almost no notice and become a focal point all over again. You never know when you are going to see one more match, and now we seem to be seeing it again with two legends looking set to come back to the ring. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s Gone: WWE Announces Suspension For AEW Star Over Altercation With Shawn Michaels The main event of this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw saw Becky Lynch defeat Bayley in a steel cage match with the help of Lita. Late in the match, Lita appeared to help Lynch clear out Damage Ctrl, allowing Lynch to pick up the win. REVIEW: Elimination Chamber 2019: It’s Still Running Wild

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over ten years now and have reviewed over 5,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net, starting today. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? Elimination Chamber 2019 Date: February 17, 2019 Location: Toyota Center, Houston, Texas Commentators: Michael Cole, Corey Graves, Renee Young, Tom Phillips, Percy Watson It’s the first of two stops on the Road to Wrestlemania and that means we’ll be seeing a big steel structure. In this case it’s for the WWE Championship and the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. The structure alone makes this a little more interesting and hopefully it’s good on top of that. Let’s get to it. Kickoff Show: Cruise..

WWE Hall of Famer Returns On Raw

She’s back. The main event of tonight’s episode of Raw featured a steel cage match between Becky Lynch and Bayley that was originally supposed to take place at Raw XXX. While Bayley would have backup with Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky, it appeared that The Man had some backup too. In the closing moments of the match, Lynch was getting ready to escape the cage, when interference from Kai and Sky prevented The Man from getting out. Just when it looks like Bayley was going to get the win, WWE Hall of Famer Lita made her return to television to even the odds. She would fight off Damage Control, slam the door in Bayley’s face, and allow Lynch to get the win. Lita was last seen on WWE programming at the 2022 Elimination Chamber premium live event, where she lost a match to Lynch. Editor’s Opinion: I did not see this one coming, but I’m glad I did! It’s always great when Lita is on television, and she looked fantastic in her role as always. If this leads to a tag match between the two opposing s..

They’re Ready: Backstage Details On Elite’s AEW Return

It’s a big deal. There are certain names in AEW who have been treated as top stars since the company debuted. Now we are ready for a special moment later this week, and we know a lot more about what has been going on to set it up. This week on AEW Dynamite, a Trios Titles match was announced for Full Gear, with Death Triangle defending against the Elite’s Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. According to Fightful Select, the Young Bucks were backstage at this week’s Dynamite but there was never a plan for any of the team’s members to appear on camera before Full Gear. In addition, Omega’s manager Don Callis was backstage as well and is expected to join Omega when he returns at Full Gear. The team can do a lot when they are around. Check out what they are capable of ..

Rampage Date: November 11, 2022 Location: Agganis Arena, Boston, Massachusetts Commentators: Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur Well there’s no Mike Tyson this week so we’re already on a downgrade. The Full Gear Tournament continues this week and that means we’ll be getting to see what they have planned for the next round. Other than that, Jungle Boy is here for a challenge to Luchasaurus, which he announced on Dynamite instead of just making the challenge there for whatever reason. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Here are Christian Cage and Luchasaurus to answer Jungle Boy’s challenge, which he wants to give in person. Cue Jungle Boy, who Christian thinks must be from Boston because he’s such a loser. Congratulations! Two Former WWE Stars Get Married

Good for them! Wrestlers have some very busy schedules and that does not leave them with a lot of free time to do other things. With all of the traveling and wrestling in various places, it can make things more than a little complicated. This includes romance, but there are ways to make it work. Two wrestling stars have managed to make it work in a rather important way. Why WWE Star’s Crown Jewel Performance Was More Impressive Than It Seemed

That’s rather impressive. There are all kinds of wrestling matches to be had, some of which add something extra to ramp up the violence. These matches make things even more intense than usual and it feels special when you see one of them take place. Another was held over the weekend, and now we know something about it that made things all the more impressive. This weekend at WWE Crown Jewel, Drew McIntyre defeated Karrion Kross in a steel cage match. However, according to PWInsider.com, McIntyre wrestled the match while “extremely sick”. McIntyre missed some of the run throughs for his match but was adamant about wrestling no matter what. There is nothing to suggest that McIntyre will miss any ring time due to his illness. Opinion: This is one of those things that makes me even more impressed by McIntyre. He is one of the few wrestlers you never hear about missing shows or causing any issues whatsoever. Now he is working through an illness and made a big match anyway. You wouldn’t ha..

Pair Of Update On The Elite Returning To AEW In Some Fashion

Almost done? There have been very few wrestling stories this year that have been discussed as extensively as the post AEW All Out brawl between CM Punk/Ace Steel and the Elite (Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks). The issue resulted in several suspensions as well as Steel being released from the company. While the main players have yet to return, we have gotten something of an update from AEW itself. According to Fightful Select, the Elite may be set to return in at least a backstage capacity very soon, though there is no word on when the three may return to AEW TV. However, this week on AEW Dynamite, a vignette aired talking about the trio’s success in AEW. During the vignette though, the three of them began disappearing from the images, suggesting that they were being erased. It is not clear what this means for their future. Opinion: Your tastes may vary on the Elite but there is no denying that they have been a big deal in AEW since the company was founded. It makes sense to have the..

WWE Adds Two Big Grudge Matches To Crown Jewel Card

Two more on the list. We are rapidly approaching some one of the biggest WWE events of the year with Crown Jewel from Saudi Arabia. The show is one of two from the kingdom this year and that means WWE is going to want to stack the show up as much they can. That is what they did this week, as two more matches were added to the card, both of which feature a former World Champion. WWE added a pair of matches to the Crown Jewel card this week on SmackDown. First up, Braun Strowman challenged Omos to a match, with MVP accepting on Omos’ behalf. Second, Drew McIntyre announced that he has been forced to stay away from Karrion Kross until the two of them will face off in a steel cage match at Crown Jewel. The show takes place on Saturday November 5. Opinion: Both of these matches make sense for the show and it was more a case of waiting to get the matches announced. Strowman and Omos had their showdown last week and McIntyre vs. Kross was going to happen again at some point. The matches sho..

AEW Releases Name Involved In All Out Backstage Brawl

It had to happen to someone. There have been a lot of stories in wrestling this year but perhaps the most bizarre has been the backstage brawl after AEW All Out. There have been several suspensions as a result of the issue and the question becomes just how bad things are going to get for everyone. While there are still issues to be decided for the top names, we now know the fate of one person involved. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, AEW has officially released Ace Steel from the company, where he had been working backstage. Steel was involved in the backstage brawl and reportedly threw a chair, which hit Nick Jackson in the head. Steel had also appeared on a recent edition of Dynamite, where he inspired CM Punk to face Jon Moxley in a rematch for the AEW World Title. Opinion: I don’t think this is quite the surprise as Steel wasn’t a major name in AEW and hadn’t even been around that long. It makes sense for Steel to be gone from the company and eliminates one factor in the e..

Kenny Omega And The Young Bucks Could Be Gone From AEW For A Long Time

It could be a little while. Following AEW All Out and its media scrum on September 4, a huge brawl broke out between CM Punk, Ace Steel and Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks (the Elite). The issues came from statements that Punk had made, accusing the Elite of planting stories about him which he says are untrue. The end result was everyone being suspended and now we are waiting on their returns. It turns out we might be waiting longer than expected. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Elite has not heard anything back from AEW about their suspensions. The company is not planning to make any public announcements about the situation and has not addressed it on AEW TV. There is a chance that legal issues are holding up the situation, along with a possible “second hold up” of unknown details. There is no word on when the Elite will be back on AEW TV, but Punk is expected to miss around eight months after tearing his tricep. Opinion: This is a situation that is going to take..

KB’s Review: All Elite Isn’t All Elite

After this year’s All Out, CM Punk went ballistic during a media scrum, bashing a lot of people on the roster, including the company’s Executive Vice Presidents, better known as the Elite (for the sake of clarification, I’ll only be referring to Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks when I mention the Elite). Following the media scrum, there was a huge fight between Punk, Ace Steel and the Elite which has resulted in pretty much everyone involved being suspended. It isn’t clear when those people are going to be back and that is what we are looking at this time around. Now before you panic, no, we aren’t talking about the media scrum comments or the brawl, because those topics have been driven so hard into the ground that I’m expecting them to wind up on Impact Wrestling sooner than later. Everything that we know or have speculated about those incidents has been covered to death so we’ll move on to something a little more practical. This week saw AEW’s Grand Slam events, held in Arthur Ashe..
