She’s Back: Wrestling World Reacts To Saraya’s In-Ring Return

It was a special moment. There are a lot of reasons for a wrestler to have to leave the ring earlier than expected, with injuries or medical issues often being near the top of the list. It can be devastating to see someone have to retire early but every now and then, you see someone get to come back to the ring after retirement. Now we are seeing it again and the wrestling world is reacting. This week on AEW Dynamite, Saraya, formerly known as Paige in WWE, announced that she was cleared to return to the ring and would be facing Britt Baker at Full Gear on November 19. Saraya was forced to retire from the ring in 2018 following a spinal injury, leaving it doubtful that she would ever wrestle again. As a result, several wrestlers and wrestling personalities have thoughts on Saraya’s return to the ring. WWE Hall Of Famer Announces Return To WWE This Summer

Welcome back. There are a lot of people who are involved in making a wrestling show work. In addition to having the wrestlers in the ring doing everything they need to do, there are also the people behind the scenes who help put the whole presentation together. It makes sense for those people to have a great background in wrestling and now WWE is getting back one of its Hall of Famer producers. During a recent edition of his Table Talk podcast, WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley announced that he will be returning to his role as a producer on June 15. This comes after Dudley has been away from the ring since having spinal surgery back in February. Dudley has worked for WWE as a producer since 2016. It is not clear which brand he will be working on when he returns. Opinion: It’s always great to see someone getting back to work after missing time due to health issues. Dudley is someone that has the experience and the reputation to make an impact on the WWE roster and he has been around lon..

Very Good News On Two Injured Wrestlers

That could be worse. Injuries can be devastating to anyone in wrestling as you never know when one of them will take place. Some of them come out of nowhere due to a simple mistake in a match and those can often be the worst possible. What matters the most is how long it will take someone to get healthy and we have positive updates on a pair of injured wrestlers. Both Big E. and Chelsea Green were injured over the last week and have now provided updates on their situations. Big E. was injured during a match this week on SmackDown and posted a video saying he had broken his neck. He has since sent out another video, announcing that his C1 and C6 vertebrae are fractured but not displaced. He also has no ligament or spinal cord damage. As a result, he will not need surgery, though there is no timetable for his return. Green was injured during a match with Deonna Purrazzo at Impact Wrestling’s Sacrifice event. According to F4WOnline.com, Green suffered a fractured radius in her forearm. ..

WWE Hall Of Famer Undergoes Spinal Surgery, Can Never Wrestle Again

That might be for the best. One of the major criticisms you will hear against wrestlers is that what they do is fake. While it is true that the results of the matches are pre-planned, what you see taking place in the ring is very real, as these people are putting their bodies on the line on a regular basis. That kind of work can wear on wrestlers after a bit and now one of them has had to get a lot of work done to repair the damage. WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley has revealed that he underwent spinal fusion surgery to repair damage to his back. The damage was caused by years of wrestling and was said to be worse than the doctors originally believed. As a result, Dudley will never be able to wrestle again, though he had no plans to do so. There is no word on when Dudley will return to his position as a WWE producer. AEW Star Undergoes Neck Fusion Surgery Due To Spinal Stenosis

That’s never good. Injuries can happen to any wrestler at any point in time. There are a variety of them to pick from, as it could be caused by anything from a fluke accident that changes everything at once to a career’s worth of wear and tear that builds up over time. It seems to be the latter in this case though and now someone is probably going to be on the shelf for a long time to come. AEW’s Trent has announced via Instagram that he has undergone neck fusion surgery. There is currently no word on how long he will be out of action or if he will be able to wrestle again. During this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Tony Schiavone mentioned that the surgery was to help with spinal stenosis. Trent’s most recent match took place on April 21, and was only his fourth match back after missing nearly four months due to a torn pectoral muscle. That’s Not A Good Sign. Two Former World Champions Are Currently Injured.

To the injured list. We’re pretty much in the beginning of a fresh season for WWE. With WrestleMania over and the Superstar Shakeup taking place earlier this week, things are at a fresh start for the company. However, that doesn’t mean that all of the people are right there for the earliest episodes. Two former World Champions were notably absent this week and it’s not looking like great news. According to PWInsider.com, both Sheamus and Daniel Bryan are currently out of action with undisclosed injuries. Sheamus wrestled on both Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live last week but was neither seen nor mentioned this week on SmackDown Live with his regular partner Cesaro appearing without him. Bryan has not been seen since WrestleMania 35. Both have long term injury issues, with Sheamus having spinal stenosis and Bryan having a long history of concussions. There is no word on if those injuries are connected to their current absences. In case you forgot. Check out Sheamus in action last w..
