After not appearing on Monday Night Raw Wyatt is advertised for this week’s show, meaning we might get an idea of what the new version will be like. That can make for some interesting shows as the crowd might have to be brought into things a bit more. It’s also the go home show for Elimination Chamber, meaning we are probably in for a lot of hype. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Monday Night Raw Date: September 10, 2018 Location: Smoothie King Center, New Orleans, Louisiana Commentators: Renee Young, Michael Cole, Corey Graves It’s the go home show for Hell in a Cell, though I’m not sure how much attention that is going to get since we’re about a month away from Super Show-Down and a month and a half away from Evolution. WWE doesn’t seem to mind about going that far into the future so Sunday might not get the most attention. Let’s get to it. Here are Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman to open things up with the roster (the lower portions of it that is) around the ring. Dolph says we told you so because they beat the Shield down. We get a recap of Strowman vs. Reigns, which has morphed into the trio vs. the Shield. Its all about The Undisputed Era. To kick-start WrestleMania weekend for the WWE there was a Ladder match to open NXT TakeOver: New Orleans to crown the first-ever NXT North American Champion. At the end of the contest the sly Adam Cole pushed the ladder that Ricochet was standing atop on, crushing the dreams of the "The One And Only". Cole climbed to the top of the ladder and pulled down the championship as the thousands in attendance inside of the Smoothie King Center went ballistic for "The Panama City Playboy." Later on in the night Adam Cole had to help his faction-mate Kyle O'Reilly defend the NXT Tag Team Championships and in a shocking turn of events, Roderick Strong pledged his allegiance to The Undisputed Era by turning on his partner in the match Pete Dunne, and handing over the NXT Tag Titles on a silver plater to Kyle O'Reilly and Adam Cole. WWE Edits Out 'Rusev Day' Chants From The Opening Segment Of SmackDown Live

No more 'Rusev Day'? This past Tuesday on SmackDown Live a day after officially announcing her retirement from in-ring competition, former two-time WWE Divas Champion Paige was revealed as the new GM of the blue-brand. The former GM Daniel Bryan has returned to his role as a full-time competitor now that he is cleared. Paige's first move as GM came in the form of putting together a fantasy match between AJ Styles & Daniel Bryan for that edition of SmackDown Live. Before making the announcement Paige asked the fans inside of the Smoothie King Center who would they like to see Daniel Bryan go one-on-one with in his first match back on SmackDown and the arena erupted in 'Rusev Day' chants. In the midst of Rusev being involved in many of headlines as of late, the chant was edited out from WWE's YouTube clip above.
