More Details On Ricky Steamboat’s Return To The Ring

That would be big. There are a lot of ways to wrap up a wrestling career and some of them can be very respectful for everyone involved. Every wrestler wants to go out on a high note but sometimes they will also want to prove that they still have what it takes to be in the ring, even one more time. That is what a legend is going to be doing later this year and now we know a bit more about the match. Earlier this year, it was announced that Ricky The Dragon Steamboat would be wrestling his final match later this year for Big Time Wrestling in Raleigh, North Carolina. The promotion has now announced that the match will be a six man tag, featuring Steamboat and FTR taking on Jay Lethal, Brock Anderson and a mystery partner, with Arn Anderson managing the team. The show takes place on November 27. It's the "Return of the Dragon" on Sunday, November 27 at the Dorton Arena in Raleigh, NC! RICKY "The Dragon" STEAMBOAT & FTR vs. ARN ANDERSON's team of BLACK MACHISMO, BROCK ANDERSO..

Homecoming: Arena Advertising Return Of Top WWE Star

Welcome back? There are a lot of wrestlers on the WWE roster today and some of them are among the biggest stars going in the wrestling world today. Those wrestlers are able to make quite the impact no matter what they are doing, but sometimes they are going to be away. What matters though is that those wrestlers get to come back at some point, which might be the case with a pretty big star. The PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina is advertising an appearance by Charlotte for the August 12 edition of SmackDown. Charlotte is currently not listed on WWE.com’s preview for the show. Should she appear, this would be Charlotte’s first appearance since WrestleMania Backlash on May 8 when she was defeated by Ronda Rousey. There is no word on what Charlotte would be doing on the show. Opinion: This is the kind of return that WWE could use as Charlotte has been gone for the better part of two months. Charlotte is one of the bigger stars in the company and would instantly be one of the most imp..

AEW Rampage Results – January 14, 2022

Rampage Date: January 14, 2022 Location: PNC Arena, Raleigh, North Carolina Commentators: Chris Jericho, Excalibur, Ricky Starks, Taz We are still in Horsemen Country and that means we should be in for another pretty good night. Rampage has found its groove in recent weeks and now it is time for a Tag Team Title match, as the Dark Order gets the first shot against Jurassic Express. Adam Cole is here too so let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Adam Cole vs. Trent Beretta The Best Friends and all of Adam Cole’s friends are here. They trade chops to start until Beretta tosses him down with a suplex. Back up and Beretta is sent to the floor and then into the barricade to put him in trouble for a change. They go inside again with Cole hitting his own suplex before Beretta is tossed right back to the floor. The Panama Sunrise is countered into a backdrop so Cole sends him into the barricade. We take a break and come back with Beretta fighting out of a chinlock. A tornado DDT plants Cole an..

AEW Dynamite Live Coverage And Results – January 12, 2022

Dynamite Date: January 12, 2022 Location: PNC Arena, Raleigh, North Carolina Commentators: Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur It’s time to get a bit more back to normal after last week’s major show. That could mean a few things this week, as AEW has a bit of a strange definition of normal. World Champion Hangman Page is here and we have a showdown between CM Punk and Wardlow, which means MJF will be around too. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Here are Adam Cole and ReDragon for a chat. Cole brags about how awesome the three of them are and how he is undefeated in singles action. ReDragon is the baddest team in wrestling….but here are the Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler to interrupt. Cole tries to play peacemaker and they all seem to be friends, because both teams are better than people like the Best Friends. Cue the Best Friends and Orange Cassidy, with Cole calling their music stupid. The fight is on in a hurry but Cole hits Cassidy low. The beatdown is on but Kris Stadtlander ..

REVIEW: No Mercy 2006: All Hail

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over twelve years now and have reviewed over 6,000 shows. Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I’ll be posting a new review here on Wrestlingrumors.net. It could be anything from modern WWE to old school to indies to anything in between. Note that I rate using letters instead of stars and I don’t rate matches under three minutes as really, how good or bad can something that short be? No Mercy 2006 Date: October 8, 2006 Location: RBC Arena, Raleigh, North Carolina Attendance: 9,000 Commentators: Michael Cole, John Bradshaw Layfield We’re back to the pay per views and this time around it’s another pretty low level one with one of the weaker Smackdown shows. The main event, as of two days ago, is now a four way with King Booker defending his title against Finlay, Batista and Bobby Lashley. Other than that we have Chavo Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio in a Falls Count Anywhere match as the second bigges..

Monday Night Raw Live Coverage And Results – September 20, 2021

Monday Night Raw Date: September 20, 2021 Location: PNC Arena, Raleigh, North Carolina Commentators: Jimmy Smith, Byron Saxton, Corey Graves It’s the go home show for Extreme Rules and in theory that should mean that it is time to actually add something EXTREME to the card. It would be nice to have the show actually live up to its name, though I think you can guess what kind of stipulations we are going to be seeing. Let’s get to it. We open with a recap of Big E. cashing in Money in the Bank to win the WWE Title last week. Here is New Day to celebrate Big E.’s title win. Big E. is rather emotional as he soaks in the YOU DESERVE IT chants and says this feels like Thanksgiving to him. He is thankful for everyone who has been here chanting New Day Rocks and (and those who chanted NEW DAY SUCKS). There are some great people here to celebrate with and one more above watching down (cue the BRODIE chants, and Big E. has to pause for a second). As for tonight though, it is time for some b..

REVIEW: Summerslam 2000: The Forgotten Great One

Welcome to KB’s Old School (and New School) Reviews. I’ve been reviewing wrestling shows for over ten years now and have reviewed over 5,000 shows. Summerslam 2000 Date: August 27, 2000 Location: Raleigh Entertainment and Sports Arena, Raleigh, North Carolina Attendance: 18,124 Commentators: Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler This is another show that I barely remember at all. A lot has changed since last time and it’s dramatically changed the card. To begin with, Austin is out with neck surgery and Rock has ascended to the top of the company. He’ll be defending the title tonight against HHH and upstart star Kurt Angle, a real Olympic gold medalist. On top of that, four guy..
