WATCH: WWE Pays A Very Cool Tribute To Rey Mysterio

I’d say he is worth it. There are certain wrestlers who stand above the rest of their peers. You know these wrestlers when you see them and they are the ones who become the top stars and eventually the legends of wrestling. It is rare enough to see someone become a legend in their own time but a WWE star has done just that. Now we are seeing WWE pay tribute to him. Earlier this week, WWE celebrated the twenty year anniversary of Rey Mysterio making his debut with the company. Throughout the week, the company has presented a variety of tributes and looks back at Mysterio’s career. This includes a new video looking at the Top 20 Moments of Mysterio’s career, featuring various matches and championship wins over the last twenty years. Mysterio is scheduled to team with his son Dominik against Judgment Day in a No DQ match at Summerslam. There could be a lot more. Check out the Top 20 Mysterio moments: [This post contains video, click to play] Opinion: This is the kind of area where WW..

He Earned It: WWE Announces Special Tributes To Rey Mysterio For 20th Anniversary

He’s worth the time. There have been a lot of wrestlers in WWE over the years but only a few have reached the top tier. Those wrestlers are legends, with some of them being legends in their own time. It can be a lot of fun to see them active once they reach that level. We are seeing that today, and now WWE is dedicating a lot of time to one of those stars. WWE has announced the Month Of Mysterio, centered around Monday July 25 marking 20 years since Mysterio’s WWE debut. The month will include original videos on Mysterio’s career, comments from his peers and a special look at some of his masks. There will also be classic videos and rare photos released on WWE’s social media channels. Mysterio and his son Dominik are scheduled to confront Judgment Day next week on Monday Night Raw. Opinion: Rey might not have been on hot as he has been in recent weeks, but there is no denying just how great he has been over his career. Someone his size should not be able to do the things that he does ..

WATCH: AEW Stars Appear On Monday Night Raw To Praise John Cena

They don’t go here. Twenty years ago Monday, John Cena made his WWE debut on SmackDown. What followed was one of the greatest careers in WWE history, as Cena has gone on to become one of the most decorated champions in the company’s history, as well as developed quite the film career. Now some of his peers are celebrating him, including some surprising names. This week’s Monday Night Raw was focused on Cena and his history with WWE. Throughout the show, various wrestling legends appeared in videos to praise Cena in one way or another. This included current WWE names such as Randy Orton and Stephanie McMahon, former WWE names such as Booker T. and Trish Stratus, plus some current AEW names, including Chris Jericho, Daniel Bryan and Big Show. Other names included Kurt Angle, John Bradshaw Layfield, Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels and Triple H. I remember them. Chris Jericho And Amanda Huber Get Into Bizarre Twitter Argument With Former WWE Star

What a weird reaction. There are certain wrestlers who are nothing short of beloved by their peers and you can see how much these wrestlers mean to others. It can often lead to some issues involving one wrestler protecting another. That can be even more ferocious if a wrestler is gone and unable to defend themselves, which might have been the case this week in a strange way. This week, Samuray del Sol, formerly known as Kalisto, made his AEW debut on Dynamite. Del Sol sent out a tweet, saying that he spoke to John (Brodie Lee, real name Jon Huber, who passed away in December 2020) before his match, asking for strength in his match. Chris Jericho responded, saying that del Sol spelled Huber’s name wrong. Huber’s widow Amanda sent out a gif agreeing with Jericho before arguing with fans over del Sol’s mistake. Later, del Sol would send out a tweet apologizing to Jericho. There is no word on if del Sol will be back in AEW. You spelled his name wrong. https://t.co/5xMymtqfzd — Chris Jer..

WATCH: Undertaker Offers High Praise For Recent Match

You don’t hear this very often. Wrestling is a very unique industry, but at the same time it does have a lot of similarities to more traditional ones. Something you get in a lot of jobs is the desire to be praised by your peers. These are the people who do the same thing you do so hearing them say you’ve done something well is a nice feeling. When it is from one of the best of all time, it is even better. WrestleMania 36 featured two matches (kind of) which were not your traditional wrestling matches. This included the Boneyard Match, which was your much more traditional match and then the Firefly Fun House Match, which one of the most bizarre things that you will ever see in all of wrestling. Someone involved in one of the matches certainly liked what he saw and that is some high praise. Undertaker appeared in an interview with Nine Line Apparel and answered a question about the Firefly Fun House Match. Undertaker praised the match, talking about how different and unique it was. He ..

Mustafa Ali Stands Up Against Racist Fan On Twitter

205 Live Superstar Mustafa Ali has been open in the past about racism as he looks to change perceptions around the world. Now he is back at it on social media. Many people throughout the world perceive individuals a certain way based on the color of the skin or where they come from. This, as we know, is wrong, racist and an incorrect judge of character. Ali is a former Chicago police officer, a father and a man who fights for the respect of his peers and the WWE Universe each and every week. WWE tweeted out a clip showing Ali cutting a promo about building up 205 Live: Brick by brick. Night after night. @MustafaAliWWE holds NOTHING back in his quest to build up #205Live! pic.twitter.com/qZDXsCDzWu — WWE (@WWE) May 22, 2018 This prompted a racist fan to tweet at WWE, suggesting that Ali make bombs or shoot up schools since ‘they’re’ good at it: Just make some bombs or shoot some schools. Since y'all good at it — C.Green (@GreenVGC) May 22, 2018 There was a huge amount of back..
