Update on Nikki & Brie Garcia’s Wrestling Future

It came from the source. It had been previously reported that the Bella Twins were officially leaving WWE for good and had rebranded themselves as Nikki and Brie Garcia. One of the main questions that has risen is the wrestling future, particularly when it comes to AEW. That question was answered today on Instagram Live, where Nikki confirmed that her and her sister would not be going to AEW. You can see a clip of that below: Nikki and Brie Garcia are not going to AEW. pic.twitter.com/PkzCosyUER — Wrestling News (@WrestlingNewsCo) March 15, 2023 Garcia also mentioned that there was fan speculation that things have soured between both them and WWE. She said it seems that way because of “everything in the past” but there are no hard feelings. Editor’s Opinion: I’ll take the Garcias at their word, as they have absolutely no reason to taint their legacy by going to AEW. That being said, it wouldn’t surprise me if Tony Khan threw a bunch of money at them to get a major pop for one nig..

WATCH: Rey Mysterio Wrestles On Late Late Show

It’s a Hall Of Fame thing. Wrestling has a history of working with celebrities and it has been a mixed bag over the years. There are several celebrities who are there for the sake of promoting their latest project and nothing more, while there are occasionally celebrities there for their love of wrestling (among other things). The latter was the case this week and a WWE legend got involved as a result. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WATCH: Tag Team Splits On NXT In Mid-Match Betrayal Bad Bunny, who has worked with WWE multiple times in the past and is set to host this year’s Backlash, was a guest on the Late Late Show this week. During the interview, wrestling was brought up, resulting in Bunny bringing out Rey Mysterio. Host James Corden then faced Mysterio in a match, where he was quickly defeated. Mysterio is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame later this month. Kind of one sided. Check out the match (the wrestling portion begins at around 11:00), plus Bunny and Mysterio in WWE:..

Some new information may give some clues as to why this happened. According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Wyatt has an undisclosed “physical issue” and is currently out of action. It is unknown at this time. What exactly the issue is, and how long he will be away from WWE. WRESTLING RUMORS: Trish Stratus Planned For Major WWE Feud

That would be a different way to go. Legends can do a lot of good things in wrestling as they offer a variety of unique opportunities that regular stars cannot pull off. It can mean a lot to have a legend pop up in the right spot and that is still the case today in WWE. This time around, we might be in for a major story involving a past star mixing it up with a current top star. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: They’re The Ones: The Usos Become First Team Ever To Reach This WWE Milestone Last month, Trish Stratus made a surprise return to help Lita and Becky Lynch win the Women’s Tag Team Titles. The three are now set for a six woman tag against Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 39. According to WRKD Wrestling on Twitter, the current plan is for Stratus to turn on Lynch and feud with her throughout the summer, leading to a match between the two at Summerslam. There is no word on when the turn will take place. The long term plan, as of this moment, is that Trish Stratus will turn heel and work a pro..

It wasn’t over. WWE presents all kinds of wrestling events every year, many of which are aired on national television. Flashback: Cameron Makes Bold Claim About WWE Reunion With Naomi

What could have been. Women’s wrestling has come a very long way in WWE over the last several years and a lot of that has been due to the roster the company has put together. There have been several stars who have become much bigger deals than ever before and the results have been a success. Occasionally you will see a star come back from the past and now another is saying she was going to be back in a big way. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: That’s Serious: AEW Star Currently Out Of Action With Back Injury, Needed Wheelchair Former WWE star Ariane Andrew, better known as Cameron, took part in a virtual signing with Golden Ring Collectibles and spoke about her return to WWE for the 2022 Royal Rumble. NXT LVL Up Results – February 24, 2023

NXT LVL Up Date: February 24, 2023 Location: Capitol Wrestling Center, Orlando, Florida Commentators: Blake Howard, Byron Saxton It’s another LVL Up and again I’m not sure what to expect. The best formula around here seems to be having some midcard NXT stars in the main event and the younger stars filling in the rest of the show. That has worked well in the past, but you never know what direction the show is going to take. Let’s get to it. Opening sequence. Axiom vs. Kale Dixon Dixon works on the arm to start but Axiom reverses into an armbar of his own. A springboard kick to the side of the head drops Dixon but he’s right back with some clubbing forearms. They trade kicks to the ribs until Dixon gets two off a delayed vertical suplex. Axiom strikes his way out of a chinlock and there’s a high crossbody. The Golden Ratio finishes for Axiom at 4:35. Result: Axiom b. Kale Dixon – Golden Ratio (4:35) Myles Borne and Tank Ledger are different on paper but they can win together tonight..
