Unlikely Source: Dominik Mysterio Reveals How The Office Developed His Prison Dom Gimmick

It worked. There are all kinds of different ways to present a wrestler and some of them are more serious than others. Occasionally you will see a wrestler find something that just works for them, even if it might not be the most serious situation in the world. That is the case at the moment on Monday Night Raw, and now we know some more about how it came together in the first place. IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: For Real: NXT Star Written Off Television Due To Legitimate Injury For most of the year, Dominik Mysterio has spoken extensively about his time in prison, following his arrest on Christmas Eve for invading his father Rey’s home. However, I’ve thought that, for the most of the year, the Eagles have been the most complete team with that explosive office, under Jalen Hurts. Because of the fact that I think the Eagles have..

Pat McAfee Being Sued By Brett Favre, McAfee Responds

Let the games begin. Multiple news outlets are reporting that NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre has filed three separate defamation lawsuits against Mississippi state auditor Shad White as well as national sports commentators Shannon Sharpe and Pat McAfee. From ESPN: Favre became involved in [a] public fraud case in 2020 after investigators in White’s office discovered that at least $77 million in public money from Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funds, earmarked for the neediest families in the state, instead was used to line the pockets of rich and powerful Mississippians. According to a state audit and civil lawsuit in which Favre and dozens of others are named as defendants, Favre was paid $1.1 million in TANF funds for speeches White has said Favre never made. Favre eventually paid the money back, but the state auditor demanded Favre also pay $228,000 in interest. Similar allegations were made in the lawsuit filed by Favre against former NFL punter and po..

The 2023 Royal Rumble Event Was “Easy” Without Vince McMahon

It’s a new way to go. According to a report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the 2023 Royal Rumble event was said to have been the “easiest” that it’s has been in a long time, with regard to putting the show together. This is due to the lack of creative involvement from Vince McMahon. This year’s Royal Rumble was the first under Triple H and the report states that there was a good feeling about the show in the end, including the morale among talent. Furthermore, it was said that from a day-to-day and weekly basis, the atmosphere is much more laid back. One of the only reminders of Vince’s influence remains the “Vince’s office” directional sign that hasn’t been changed since he left but points to a section of the backstage area that is completely different. Vince has been notorious for changing things at the last minute and creating a sense of chaos and unease right before a show goes on the air. The report further states that the process of the Rumble itself was the easiest in a long..

Am I going out to music? What way are we doing it?’ He said, ‘Oh, you just go out as Finn and then do the segment.’ I said, ‘Well, oh, okay. That’s cool’. “The..

He’s Good: Police Perform Wellness Check On Kevin Nash After Allusions To Suicide

That could have been horrible. There are all kinds of people in the wrestling industry but at the same time they all have to deal with the same kind of things that non-wrestling people do as well. Some of those things can be terrible and incredibly difficult to face, including all kinds of tragedies. That is the case with one wrestling legend and some of his comments scared his fans so much that police got involved. Earlier this week on his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash spoke about his son passing away twelve weeks ago. This included Nash talking about how “time flies when you got a gun in your mouth” and how he can do “whatever the f*** I wanna do. WATCH: SmackDown Mystery Attacker Revealed Backstage

The quick reveal. There are certain angles in wrestling that come up every so often and will work pretty much every time. One of the best is a mystery, as it gives the fans a reason to keep watching to see where things are going. John Laurinaitis Threatened To Fire A WWE Trainer Over Wearing Sweatpants

It’s a corporate thing. WWE is a rather large company and the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. They have their headquarters at Titan Towers in Stamford, Connecticut, which is run like any othe corporate office would be. This can make for some slightly strange issues though and now a former WWE star is explaining how serious things got for him at one point. During an appearance on Story Time With Dutch Mantell, former WWE coach Tom Prichard told a story about wearing workout gear to WWE headquarters. Prichard said that he felt it was appropriate since he was an in-ring coach. However, former WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis said that he needed Prichard to dress more professionally. Knowing that Laurinaitis would be out of the office the following Monday, Prichard showed up in his workout clothes again. Laurinaitis even called in to check on what Prichard was wearing and threatened to fire him for not dressing appropriately, resulting in Prichard changing. Opinion..

Warner Brothers Discovery Executive On More AEW Programming (Minus A Ring)

They want more. AEW has come a long way in its three years of existence. A lot of the company’s success can be attributed to its programming being broadcast on Warner Brothers Discovery networks. The shows are available in prime time on national networks and the potential audience is high as a result. Now we might be in for an expansion of the company’s programming, but in a different way. Warner Brothers Discovery Group Chair and Chief Content Officer Kathleen Finch was recently interviewed by the Hollywood Reporter and spoke about the company’s relationship with AEW. Finch said that AEW pulls in huge numbers and as a result, Warner Brothers Discovery is trying to find new programming featuring AEW stars without it being in a wrestling ring. There is no word on what kind of programming this could be. Opinion: I don’t know what this is going to mean but there is something a bit ominous about the way that was worded. It almost came off like saying Warner Brothers Discovery likes the A..

Sasha Banks Changes Twitter Handle; No Longer Includes WWE

She’s The Boss of something different. Sasha Banks caused a buzz on social media earlier today when she abruptly changed her Twitter handle. You can see the change below: Tweets by MercedesVarnado Banks has been away from WWE programming since her and Naomi walked out of the company on May 16 of this year. On that day, they walked into WWE Head of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis’ office with their suitcases in hand, placed their tag team championship belts on his desk, and walked out. It had been previously reported that WWE was trying to mend fences with the two following the transition of power from Vince McMahon to Triple H, but nothing had been solidified. We will continue to monitor the story and provide updates as they become available. ..

NXT Title Officially Vacated, Huge Match Set To Crown New Champion

There it goes. Titles are some of the most important parts of any wrestling show. A title makes it clear that a wrestler is one of the prominent stars, which tells fans who they need to focus on. It means something when someone wins a title but it can mean just as much when someone loses one. Now we are seeing the same thing again, as a title has changed hands through different circumstances. This week’s edition of NXT started with Shawn Michaels calling Carmelo Hayes and NXT North American Champion Solo Sikoa into his office. Michaels said that due to Sikoa not being the designated challenger last week, Sikoa could not be the champion as he was leaving NXT. Hayes believed this meant he would be the champion again, but Michaels made a six person ladder match for Halloween Havoc on November 1. Opinion: I can go for Michaels as the boss and I can go for Sikoa not being pinned for the title, but another ladder match isn’t doing much for me. That is such a recurring theme for NXT (and wr..
