Holliday, 30 years old, said that he began experiencing various health issues over the summer and was diagnosed in September. Jim Ross Offers Update On His Health Status

I’d call that good news. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in any given wrestling show and nothing good ever comes from them. You never want to see someone get injured in any way but unfortunately there is no way to guarantee a wrestler’s health. In addition, there are other health issues that can cause a lot of problems. This time though, there is some great news about a bad health situation. During the latest edition of his Grilling JR podcast, AEW broadcaster Jim Ross has announced that he is still cancer free. Ross still has to undergo treatments to heal some burns related to his original cancer treatments. Ross was diagnosed with skin cancer just over a year ago before revealing that he was officially cancer free in December of last year. That’s a huge relief. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to suffer an injury and you never want to see anything like that happen. Someone can be in the middle of a match and be taken down in an instant, which unfortunately is what happened this week. It became a question of what would happen next and now we have a very important, and thankfully positive, update. This week on AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page was injured in a match against Jon Moxley. Page was hit with a clothesline and landed on his head, resulting in the match being instantly stopped, with Page being taken out on a stretcher. AEW has posted an update on Twitter, saying that Page was taken to a hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion and discharged. That’s a unique one. There have been all kinds of injuries and issues that have kept wrestlers out of the ring over the years. Most of the medical issues you hear about are injury related, but sometimes a condition will pop up that makes things that much odder to hear. That seems to have been the case again, as a former WWE star is out of action for a pretty unique reason. New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that former WWE star Kushida will miss his scheduled match on Friday due to a case of hand, foot and mouth disease. Kushida was diagnoses with the disease after being looked at for a skin condition. There is no timetable for Kushida’s return to the ring. Kushida returned to New Japan back in June following a three year stint in WWE. Alexa Bliss Explains Needing Plastic Surgery After Series Of Injuries

That’s a unique injury. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to get hurt and some of them can be quite the fluke accident. That doesn’t make things any better, but it can cause quite the set of problems of its own. Sometimes a series of fluke accidents can require something to be done and it seems that was the case during a WWE star’s recent hiatus from the ring. During an interview with Wichita, Kansas’ T95 The Rock Station, WWE’s Alexa Bliss revealed that she suffered six broken noses over the course of her career. As a result, her nose had collapsed, requiring her to undergo sinus surgery. The operation took place during her hiatus from WWE between September 2021 and February 2022. Unfortunately that does not mean everything is going to work out after their career is over, as some of them have some serious issues. That can include medical troubles, but now one of them is getting some help from a pretty well known source. Earlier this week, WWE legend Virgil revealed that he has been diagnosed with stage two colon cancer. They do not do things that make a lot of sense but can often pull you into their own world. At the same time though, they have real world problems that can be very serious, especially when it comes to health issues. That is the case again with a former wrestling star.
