I’d call that good news. There are all kinds of injuries that can take place in any given wrestling show and nothing good ever comes from them. You never want to see someone get injured in any way but unfortunately there is no way to guarantee a wrestler’s health. In addition, there are other health issues that can cause a lot of problems. This time though, there is some great news about a bad health situation. During the latest edition of his Grilling JR podcast, AEW broadcaster Jim Ross has announced that he is still cancer free. Injured AEW Star Undergoes Surgery, Hopes To Breathe Again

That should fix her. Injuries are terrible to see in wrestling as you never know when someone is going to be put on the shelf for any amount of time. Former WWE Star Out Of Action With Very Unique Disease

That’s a unique one. There have been all kinds of injuries and issues that have kept wrestlers out of the ring over the years. Most of the medical issues you hear about are injury related, but sometimes a condition will pop up that makes things that much odder to hear. That seems to have been the case again, as a former WWE star is out of action for a pretty unique reason. New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced that former WWE star Kushida will miss his scheduled match on Friday due to a case of hand, foot and mouth disease. Kushida was diagnoses with the disease after being looked at for a skin condition. There is no timetable for Kushida’s return to the ring. Kushida returned to New Japan back in June following a three year stint in WWE. Opinion: That is the kind of thing that you do not hear about very often and hopefully Kushida is back to normal a lot sooner rather than later. The disease can be a rather nasty one and Kushida will need some time off to recover. Kushida did well w..

WATCH: AEW Star Announces Severe Injury, Needs Surgery

That’s a rough one. Injuries can happen to anyone at anytime in wrestling and that is never good to see. You can see someone get hurt and put on the shelf for any length of time as some of them are more serious than others. Unfortunately someone can be hurt out of nowhere, just off of a fluke situation and that seems to be the case again with a current AEW star. AEW’s Ruby Soho has released a video announcing that due to a broken nose suffered at All Out, she will be forced to undergo surgery. As a result, she will be missing her booking at 1PW in England. It Keeps Happening: Another NXT Match Stopped Due To Injury Over The Weekend

Please don’t be bad. Wrestling is a dangerous sport and there is only so much that can be done about it. No matter how much training or skill a wrestler may have, there is always the chance that someone could get hurt in the blink of an eye. That could be the case due to all kinds of things and unfortunately that was the case this weekend, as a match had to be called off. According to F4WOnline.com, NXT’s Tatum Paxley was injured during a match over the weekend against Sloane Jacobs. Another AEW Star Injured During Battle Of The Belts, Pulled From Independent Shows

That’s a painful one. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling and you never know when you are going to see one. It could be something built up for a long time or something that happens all at once. The latter can be more devastating as they can come out of nowhere, and that seems to be the case again, as a star was injured during a match that took place this week. This week, AEW presented its third Battle Of The Belts event. During the show, AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa successfully defended her title against Jamie Hayter. According to Fightful Select, Hayter suffered a broken nose during the match, though she did finish the match without issue. Hayter has been pulled from her scheduled appearances with Icons of Wrestling, though it is not clear if she will miss any time from AEW. Ouch: Nasty Injury Takes Place During AEW Dynamite Main Event

It’s the nature of the match. There are a lot of match types in wrestling and some of them are a lot more violent than others. Some of those matches are designed to be as violent as possible, particularly in matches between people who can’t stand each other. It can make for some serious violence, which is on top of the inherent danger of wrestling. That was the case again this week. The main event of this week’s AEW Dynamite saw Chris Jericho defeat Eddie Kingston in a barbed wire match. The match saw barbed wire around the ring with both wrestlers using it throughout the match. Jericho has since taken to Twitter and revealed that he suffered a broken nose during the match, though it is not clear when in the match it happened. WATCH: Keith Lee’s Emotional Speech After AEW Dynamite

A bittersweet moment. Wrestlers do a lot of things in front of the cameras and most of the time, it can be pretty entertaining. That leaves fans with quite a few things to see, often as part of a live crowd. You get to see all kinds of things when you go to a live television taping, some of which is done after the television cameras are turned off. That was the case again this week in a rather emotional moment. The main event of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland win the Tag Team Titles from the Young Bucks in a three way match, also involving Team Taz. Following the win, Lee addressed the crowd, talking about how there are very few people he is close to in life. Alexa Bliss Explains Needing Plastic Surgery After Series Of Injuries

That’s a unique injury. There are all kinds of ways for a wrestler to get hurt and some of them can be quite the fluke accident. That doesn’t make things any better, but it can cause quite the set of problems of its own. Sometimes a series of fluke accidents can require something to be done and it seems that was the case during a WWE star’s recent hiatus from the ring. During an interview with Wichita, Kansas’ T95 The Rock Station, WWE’s Alexa Bliss revealed that she suffered six broken noses over the course of her career. As a result, her nose had collapsed, requiring her to undergo sinus surgery. The operation took place during her hiatus from WWE between September 2021 and February 2022. Chris Jericho Does Something Pretty Awesome To Help A Wrestling Legend

That’s a special thing to do. There are a lot of legends of wrestling still around today and several of them have some rather famous careers. Unfortunately that does not mean everything is going to work out after their career is over, as some of them have some serious issues. That can include medical troubles, but now one of them is getting some help from a pretty well known source. Earlier this week, WWE legend Virgil revealed that he has been diagnosed with stage two colon cancer. Virgil also mentioned that he does not have the money to afford the medical treatment and set up a PayPal account to help him with the expenses. AEW’s Chris Jericho has donated $1,500 towards the $20,000 goal, by far the highest amount so far. If you would like to donate, you can do so by clicking here. Opinion: Jericho might not be everyone’s cup of tea and there is nothing wrong with that, but the man is willing to put his money down to help out a cause like this. You hear about Jericho doing this on a ..

Wrestling Legend Reveals Cancer Diagnosis

That’s even worse. Wrestlers are larger than life characters who can inspire fans to do a lot of things, many of which are fairly over the top. They do not do things that make a lot of sense but can often pull you into their own world. At the same time though, they have real world problems that can be very serious, especially when it comes to health issues. That is the case again with a former wrestling star. Virgil has announced that he has been diagnosed with Stage 2 colon cancer, but he cannot afford any of the medical treatment necessary. He has set up a PayPal account asking for help with his expenses, which you can donate to right here.
